Literally a fortune in there!
I bought a new one in 73 for 4,300. It was an underpowered rustbucket and it rusted completely through in two years. I bought it to get through heavy snow in the Pennsylvania mountains but it didn't have enough power or traction, I sold it and got next to nothing for it.
Thank you! I didn't know there was a Land Cruiser museum in the US. Now we just need a Land Rover Series museum here in the states!
they all kinda looked the same to me until now. Gather a few hundred into one place and line them up and you can see things were always changing. Good video!
I'm sure quite a few Americans envy us Australians (and other countries)) who got and still get the 70 series.
There's a huge waiting list (longer than 12 months) down here in Australia for the new 70 series.
Yeah the waiting list for quite a few cars here is crazy. Worst thing I heard is even if you pay for a car when you order it if the price goes up before you get it you have to pay the difference when it's finally delivered.
Larry Chen did an amazing in depth video of this museum went into the history of some of the rarer vehicles love seeing these....
Nice to see a video on the Toyota Land Cruiser and its 'evolution'. They were (and probably still are) very popular in South America. I have friends who came from Bolivia to the UK and the family over there had one or two. The Icelandic truck was great with those oversized tyres, just right for the terrain there. Thanks for the post Steve. 👍👍
Great video.. Thanks for posting. Never knew about this museum and I owned two LCs..
Would love to see Toyotas on your channel 👍

That was so cool! Need to go there
Land Rovers are for poseurs and boulevardiers more concerned with their image than reliability. Land Cruisers are for adventurers who regularly jump off the asphalt with the confidence they'll get through whatever Mother Nature throws before them and get back again, more than likely without breaking down.
What is the history of the collection?
