    I want to buy camera , but not sure which better for orthodont, canon 850d or 250d or nikon 5600, which one do you recommend ?lens as you explained sir have to buy without auto focus like 100mm 2.8 canon usm ? (Is usm) no need for dental photos? And flash twin godox mf12 , thank you .

    When the lens is closer, the light entering the mouth is higher, not lower. Light follows the inverse square law, so the closer it is, the brighter it is. Just take any light in the room and move closer to it; it will get brighter, not dimmer.

      You are right, but only in case the light is always pointed on the same spot. Othervise this is not the case.
      The problem he is explaining happens very often in case someone uses brackets and he/she is not aware of this phenomenon.
