As I have said before, this is the best adaptation of Anne of Green Gables, best actresses, best actors, best production company, best locations and the best music score which brings tears to me in fond memories.
I`m 58 years old, from England. My mother was obsessed with A of GG. I grew up loving the story and it`s many TV and Film versions. But I cannot watch anyone else as Anne other than Megan. She is the epitome of Anne Shirley. Also Colleen is, for me, incomparable as Marilla.
I have bought and read all the available titles by L.M. Montgomery -both in English and Polish, which is my mother tounge. When I retire, I'm gonna do it once again!

A truly MAGNIFICENT TV series based on the books by LUCY MAUD MONTGOMERY that I read as a child in Europe!! I have seen the classic Hollywood movie and ALL the TV adaptations and sequels MANY times!!

So funny, all the fans going to PEI when the set locations are all in Ontario. Who'd have thought Ontario was so homey and beautiful.

I've never been to any of those places, but if I ever did, I can see myself acting out all the scenes, even if just in my head. ;)
