They gave us a classic wireless gaming headset with no bs. No RGB, no bluetooth, no ANC, no fuss. Yet it retains the important elements: super high quality build, great sound, great mic, very comfortable, absurdly good battery life. That's all most gamers need. $170 for such a premium sounding/feeling headset is not a lot. Many headsets are $270-330 these days, this costs nearly half that, how can you expect all these features at that price for something most don't even need? These features add weight and cost. Something to think about.
Agree 100% and most times, if they add those extra features, there are shortcomings elsewhere. Sure the Nova 7x has Bluetooth at that price point, but the build is crap and you only get a 1 year warranty in US with Steelseries. Mine creaks non stop and the earcups are too small for me to be comfortable.
I agree 100% it's a good headset and does the fundamentals well. Good sound, good mic, good comfort. My only gripe is they could've had velour or cloth pads instead of the leatherette only. This headset feels so good around the ears, especially for people with big ears like me. Feels very light and sound is great. The only things I do not like about this headset is it takes 5-10 seconds of holding the power button to turn it on and off, and once it is on there is no LED indicator to let you know it is on. But besides that this is a 9/10 headset at it's price point.

I've had a wired Cloud II for about 3/4 years. I'm wanting to go wireless: would I go with cloud III, cloud II or cloud II core? I saw a lot of people saying that this even the core is better than this cloud III.
FPS game…
remembering that the cloud iii has dropped in price and is almost the same
This headset feels so good around the ears, especially for people with big ears like me. Feels very light and sound is great. The only things I do not like about this headset is it takes 5-10 seconds of holding the power button to turn it on and off, and once it is on there is no LED indicator to let you know it is on. But besides that this is a 9/10 headset at it's price point.
Is it STINKY COZY tho?!?
He said he can’t give them the stinky cozy badge if you haven’t watched it
@@necondaa I know. I watched it. I was just kidding. I just enjoy the phrase
Is it possible to use it wired? Instead of the wireless way?
Just got this for right over $50 on Amazon with the black friday deal + some reward points I have. At this price point, I think it's a steal
So would you prefer the wired version or the wireless if you take the price into consideration?
i need a answer to this!! :O
Hello. I want to ask you about the method of charging the speaker. Should I charge it through the PS5 or charge it through the Apple charging head?
Hello, in the end, how did you do it?
Hello! With the type c adapter can I use them wireless on my phone too?
I have the same question. Can anyone confirm?
Work on xbox series x?
what do you recommend this or the epos h6pro closed back ? i mainly play cs2
I have the cloud 2 wireless, let’s see what the talk on the 3s are?
How does this compare to the Cloud Flight S
I am looking for a new headset /headphones i dont want no bs with amps and dacs so i was thinking about the senheiser hd560s but idk if it needs a amp and i can get the cloud 3 wireless for 99 euro instead of 180 but i use glasses so idk what to do and i play competetive games so i dont want delay and i want okay to good sound what do you suggest?
Are they worth 110$? cause i have a possibility to buy them for that price but im also considering baseus aequr gh02 and logitech g733 lightspeed and i cant really decide
I love these
Can you pause/play videos on the headset directly?
Since you do not recommend this for the price, what are the superior options for 170$?
They are on sale for 129 rn steal at that price IMO. This headset is prob the most comfortable headset I’ve ever owned. Pillowy clouds all around. I don’t get where Techne is saying they aren’t that cozy that’s just wild to me like how are they not?
In my country i can get this prodouct for only 92$ so would that be worth it?
Hello from India, can the Microphone port work as AUX port as well?
I have turtle beach 600 gen 2 max was wondering what headset is better then that please let me know
Cloud II core, would it be better for FPS?
I just wanna ask which headset u recommend for me in price range 120$ for ps5?
Could you please tell me wich one of the following headsets is the best
Hyperx cloud alpha wireless
Hyperx cloud III wireless
Razer barracuda x(2022) wireless and bluetooth
Logitech g pro x
Thanks a lot. I really appreciate your content
does 7.1 work with elgato wave 3 mic ? 🧐
I dont care about BT , I just want a good wireless headphone and mic to use on my PC only and only at my house. Only thing is , buy a wireless cloud 2 discounted or wait for cloud 3 ?
The cloud 3 wireless is better than the 2 wireless
@@TheTechne wich are better the cloud 3 or cloud 3 wireless??
I’m guessing if you want to use it with a phone you will have to go wired?
Is the sound quality and upgrade from the Cloud 2 wireless?
Yes it is
I just tried this today and the lack of swivel is a deal breaker as it pits too much uneven pressure to the front of my ears.
Thanks, I was thinking the same when I saw this, same product for more money, what's there for this?
Can it be connected to a tv?
How do I connect it to
What sounds better steelseries arctis 9x or steelseries arctis nova 7x
I had a hyperx flight wireless, so I decided to do an upgrade I got a hyperx cloud 3 wireless for $135 here in Brazil. It arrived today and putting it back into the box and sending to RMA. REALLY DOESN'T WORTH, the sound is bad, seems that you're inside a box, not a crispy sound, bass is missing a lot. I'll spend a bit more money to go for a steelseries artics nova pro wireless.
I’m going to buy one in the morning but I got an Xbox one does it work with it
Dose it work for Xbox cuz I can’t find anything for that headset to be used on Xbox
Can they be used on an Xbox series X?
Is this the best option for the money today for 130?
I don't know why, I just like them more than any other headset even though they are not the best.
They are some of the best for what they're trying to do - being a no fuss, no nonsense premium sounding and feeling headset at a reasonable cost.
Can you make a best ps5 headset vid
Yes
Has the software improved or is it as lousy as it used to be?
the software is trash still
You helped me out a ton finding a new headset. I choose the HS 80 MAX because they are stinking cozy! :)
Awesome so glad to hear 👍👍
I have the hs80 max and gave them to my little brother and bought the maxwell. Even with the update the mic isn’t as good as maxwell. The sound isn’t even close. The hs80 sound is middle of the pack. Audeze is on a whole different level 😊
@@Criticalmaze Yeah no shit. RN the Audeze Maxwell is going for 330$ or more where I'm from, while the Cloud 3 wireless is 80$.
Hi I rarely comment on videos but I am currently in the market for a new gaming headset I have my eye on the hyperx cloud alpha s which came out a couple years back and the new hyperx cloud 3 I haven’t been able to find a video comparing these two and I was wondering if it wasn’t to much to ask if you could possibly do a video it would be greatly appreciated
Just to add on to my comment i saw an old video where you compared the hyperx cloud alpha s to the hyperx cloud 2 so I was wondering how the hyperx alpha cloud s would compare to the new hyperx cloud 3
How is the latency on these? (with and without EQ adjustments). I can't handle lag at all
I can personally hardly notice it only when i really focuse on it
Does it work with Xbox series and PS5 ?
is the new razer headset better? the razer blackshark v2 2023
Yes much
I lost my dongle, and I can't find where I could buy a new one, if that even is possible. Does anyone know where I could buy a new one?
Hello, have you solved?
the volume wheel will stop working after a few months
Hope all companies will put usb c to their new and the refreshed products. My mouse and headset were both over 120 euros and still used micro usb 4 years and 2 years in the case of the mouse.
swivels brake that Y kingston dont bother with it. I would like them to make the drivers 55mm instead of 53. but I think thats how they got the sound to work so dam good. they are the only ones in between. every one else uses 50s or 60s
Do you still have the frozen llama keyboard?
No
They still don’t have a gun metal version 😢
