- Würzburg /Germany is a Bavarian city known for its baroque and rococo architecture. Würzburg is also considered the center of the Franconian wine country.
We start our tour at the 18th-century Residenz palace. From there we get to the old town with numerous churches, numerous wine bars. We pass the main sights like New Munster Collegiate Church, St. Mary's Chapel and Würzburg Cathedral on this tour. The Old Main Bridge across the River Main is also not to be missed from where the Marienberg Fortress can be seen well.
At last we have to walk briskly back to the main station to get to the train to Schweinfurt.

Daniel, thank you for sharing this awesome walk. Loved all the church bells at the beginning! This is another lovely German town to visit for sure! Esp. all the shops around 20:00 area! The Graffiti wall was interesting as well at 24:04. Do you have any others that you call previews, that you would like to share? Brigitte in Tulsa Oklahoma USA.

Nice video. The architecture of the 50ties is a little bit too bland. A bit like Nürnberg, where the main monuments have been restored/saved, but the rest of the city has 'cheaper' 50's architecture fill in. Shame the Allies decided to flatten Würzburg for 90% only 6 weeks before the end of WO II in one of the most pointless 'revenge' raids at the end of the war. But still plenty to see, especially the restored Residenz.
Perhaps àreas of opportunity in the future.

Das ist mit unter ein Grund weshalb die Stadt immer unattraktiver wird und die Kunden nicht mehr in der Stadt shoppen sondern auf die grüne Wiese fahren.
@@Uwelein40 Ich finde tatsächlich, dass sich dadurch die Lebensqualität für mich, als jemand, der in der Altstadt wohnt riesig gestiegen ist, ich habe auch noch nie davon gehört, dass weniger Kunden in die Stadt kommen und ich habe viele selbständige im Familien und Freundekreis.

Können sie sich vorstellen, wieviele Einzelhändler in der Kaiserstr., Barbarossaplatz, Juliusprommende, Schönbornstr.,Domstr.,Augustinerstr. usw. schließen mussten weil die Kunden die Straße nicht mehr befahren können?
50 reichen nicht. Spreche aber von richtigen Einzelhandels Geschäften und nicht von Dönerbuden, Handyläden, Bäckerketten oder Optiken. Machen sie sich mal Gedanken.🤔

@@poptravelorg vor allem bin ich davon ausgegangen das mit diesem Film würzburg gezeigt. Aber da waren nur uninteressante Bilder.
Ach,ich finde das Video gut. Da gibts allerdings auch noch eine Seite auf RUclips,die heißt "Würzburgfotos". Der macht ein paar mal die Woche Videos,in denen er eine Stunde durch die Stadt geht und dabei etwas erzählt. Sonntagsspaziergang ebenfalls.
