@@PresidentSunday Good point.
Some killer metal screams here.
@ 2:36 Avatar 2 has the same music when the son dies. The notes of the horns are held longer for a more sad sound because a good guy dies.
I immediately knew it was from this movie!
They recycled a great piece of music that was absolutely iconic for me as a kid.
Haven’t watched Zorro in 15 years.
The Obi Wan Kenobi of Zorro!
zeddythehead
To me, captain Love also looks like young Hulk Hogan too
antonio banderas and matt letscher must have had lots of fun doing this sword fight
0:57 You can see the strap used to keep the shovel with his feet as he slides down
The actor that played captain love was so good in this.
Who win Armand or Harrison Love? The villains
What kind of godless heathen throws a Colt Patterson?
Now who the villain, Zorro! Now who's the villain!
God,I love that Colt revolver!
Chris Elliot's quote from Groundhog Day has never been more appropriate than at the end.
"He might be okay"
BOOM!
"Well, maybe not now"
killed by his own sword. Poetic justice.
Not to mention having a ton of the gold he'd been forcing people to mine dropped on him. Even if Raphael was the main guy behind it, still pretty karmic.
2 poetic justices in his final moments.
I love this movie and what a great Zorro and villain.. I still can't believe though his luck in finding the only shovel with a boot strap on it ;P
did you miss me? Love that when Zorro gets a bit of a Moriarty vibe!
2:25- what was that all about?
Rip james Horner
Steven Guerin Yes, he was one of my favorite composers. Rip James
Captain Love is probably the best Zorro villain after Colonel Huerta
Wow, The Reverse Flash was a murderous asshole in other timelines too
Yes, but if you watch the sequel Legend of Zorro, you find that "Captain Love " gets the best of him.
Fray Felipe: "Be in the lobby at eight or don't bother coming to confession because I will never forgive you"
Zorro: HELL YEAH!!!
Audience, please don't respond to it.
In the sequel its armand not captain love.
The captain must be using some amazing hair conditioner.
As a kid, I always thought Ewan McGregor played Captain Love for some reason haha
1:35 "Oops, fucked up the Z. Quick, think of an excuse!"
Lmao underrated comment 😂
Cap love was amazing villain ❤
I like that when Alejandro carves the 'M' on Love's face he could have obviously stabbed and killed him, but he chooses to punish and humiliate the villain instead.
There's that, though I see it equally as repayment for Love's choosing not to shoot him at the beginning of the fight.
2:44 Captain Love, look into the eyes of the man who killed you.
This Film was so much better than the trash sequel
I'm surprised Capt Love didn't accidentally kill himself with his own sword when Zorro kicked him down the hill
Captain Love was a really handsome guy, but I despised his character. What a shame!
I know! Such a scumbag but the actor is so gorgeous. Definitely fully enjoyed watching him though haha.
My friend was devastated that he was such a bad dude. (I was too.)
Two men one death
Hate vs Love = hate wins.
Hatred is sometimes born of love.
I have never understood this: At 2.03 Chaptain Love says "You are doing well! Your brother would have shot himself by now!" But still he look surprised at 2.47 when Zorro is taking off his mask?
He knew that he was fighting the brother of the wanted man he killed, but he didn't realize he was the same guy that crashed Raphael's party and insulted him.
@@YzzleMate But at the beginning he also asks: Only on question!
Captain Love: Really? What is that?
Allejandro Murrieta: How would you like your ramains displayed?
So he would have known that too?
@@VampireJohan888 That's a good point. After that little face-to-face you would think he'd put it together.
@yzzlemate yes he did what are you talking about?
@@justinfilipovic8939 Why would he look surprised if he alredy knew who he was fighting against?
1:34 , Zorro could've finished him right then and there , why did he not take the chance ? He also does it in the sequel , instead of killing the enemy , he just puts a Z on his chest .
Petran Moudatsos So true...Even when I was a kid I couldn't find a rational reason of why he didn't kill him at that specific moment...
He wanted to humiliate him first. He felt humiliated when he couldn't save his brother from that head collecting monster. So he decided to humiliate him by showing him a fight he couldn't win.
... because he's Zorro.
Here is due personal grudge against the killer of his brother and his other partner the sequel is trash so nothing about it should be taken seriously, man a dumpster fire was that movie
Batman patterned his look after Zorro because he watched the tv show as a child.
androssteague he watched the gray ghost not zorro.
In the animated series in the 90's he did, but the films and the comics Bruce and his family step out of the theatre after watching Zorro and he watched the show on TV as well.
@@androssteague he watched zorro yes but the gray ghost was the inspiration for batman. Batman himself tells the gray ghost this when he meets him.
Why would you have your mouth opened while gold bars rain down onto you?
The line about his brother........BRUUUUUUUUUH
Damn be it in Zorro or the Flash the Captain always seems to play the best villains
Wish they had the flute music in the background for any fight scenes nowadays….
I love the scene right before the fighting starts, where it's just the two of them standing and glaring at each other on opposite sides of the screen...beautiful.
