It is a perfectly reasonable hypothesis to investigate with an open mind. Whenever Ireland was invaded a certain number of nobles would take to the sea to avoid being conquered. We know a great deal about the ones who wound up in Europe, but there is no reason to assume some didn't sail the other way.

This is an awesome video. When you showed the picture of the man with the blue paint on his face, I immediately thought of the Picts. Wouldn’t be surprised if that’s who these tribes came from.
Living in North Georgia for the past two years and even when I’d visit the mountains of Georgia, North Carolina, and Tennessee, I’d always feel such a deep connection with the history of the mountains. One that goes beyond the time of the pioneers. Then I learned that about the Appalachians having once been part of same range as the highlands of Scotland, it all made sense. Someone once told me that I’m deeply connected to my Celtic roots, so it only makes sense that I would feel it in the landscape of the Appalachians.
My dad confirms it too. When he was in the navy, he visited Edinburgh. He says there are parts of north Georgia that reminds him of Scotland.

Not sure if you’ve heard of this, but this Duhare tribe is possibly related to the Welsh Celtic populations who made it to North America and adopted several Native American Custom and clothing in order to better survive in this much hotter climate. We already know that the Norse made it to Nova Scotia around the 1000s but we are told they quickly abandoned the continent due to being numbered and practically hunted by savage tribes. But there is evidence that shows us one of these Norsemen traveled through the great lakes into Minnesota and established a successful colony. Hence the Minnesota Vikings football team. Countless artifacts were found in this region that are very clearly Scandinavian. But the reason we aren’t taught about these mini white tribes with red hair and long blonde beards is because a substantial number of them mixed with the locals and therefore slowly causing their lineage to become more like the Native Americans of today. There is plenty of evidence here in the south that many of the tribes from the East Coast to Louisiana were in fact European celts.

    • @DixieAfterDark
      @DixieAfterDark  20 дней назад +7

I remember seeing a lit of the Norse evidence from Minnesota years ago. I believe there were ancient carvings of rune and a sword found in a farm in that area that dated back 1000s of years.

For years, many, including myself, have shared stories about a king named Datha who ruled over a people known as the Duhares. I am pleased to see videos finally being made about the Duhares. This name is associated with Adataneses, also known as "Hadath the Red" because of her reddish hair. Adataneses was married to Japheth, who is thought to be the ancestor of the Thracians, a group characterized by their tall stature and red hair and beards.
When the ancestors of Native Americans arrived, they encountered giant red-haired inhabitants in the Americas. They also spoke of giant black-haired individuals, likely descendants of Ningikuga, Enki's wife, which could explain the name of the land Kuga-ki, believed to be in South America. The Sumerians called themselves "sag-giga," meaning "the black-headed people," a term probably stemming from the contrast between their dark hair and the lighter hair of surrounding peoples, thus highlighting their distinctive dark hair.
The name King Datha seems to echo "adata" from Adataneses, and the Thracians were referred to as the "red man." It is believed that Native Americans originated from Eurasia, which in ancient times fell under the influence of the biblical Japheth. Moreover, the tribal name Duhares is reminiscent of Durrës, a port city located in Albania on the Adriatic coast.
The city of Durrës possesses a rich historical tapestry. Established by Ancient Greek settlers from Corinth and Corcyra in the 7th century BC, alongside the local Illyrian Taulantii tribe, it was originally named Epidamnos. It later became a vital component of the Roman and subsequently the Byzantine Empires. With around 2,500 years of documented history, Durrës is renowned for its archaeological treasures, such as the grand Roman Amphitheatre. The similarity of its name to that of Duhares in South Carolina, and its connection to the Waccamaw Indians, also known as Siouan-a term phonetically close to Suen, also known as Nannar, the son of Enlil and Ki, who is linked to Noah-is striking and suggests more than mere coincidence.
Additionally, the village of Leitir Fura in Scotland translates to 'a plain of oak' or 'slope of the oak.' Another legend identifies Fura as one of Japheth's wives, implying that many of his descendants traveled to Nova Scotia, which means 'New Scotland.' The village of Greenwood in Nova Scotia shares its name with the epithet of King Datha. Moreover, there is a tale about a daughter of Enoch named Leath "Leith," whose story is probably connected to Fura, Japheth's wife, suggesting the origin of the name for the Scottish village of Leitir Fura.

The Norse settlement in Nova Scotia died out due to starvation and disease. The crops they brought from Europe didn't fare well, especially as there was a colder, wetter than usual spell of weather lasting several years causing crop failure as well as sickness among people and livestock.
They were not hunted by the Natives - they refused to trade with them or accept food from them because, in their ignorance, they thought that accepting food from "pagans" would corrupt their souls. In short, they refused the very things that would have saved their lives.

Us Welsh did NOT leave. We kept migrating, and then the colonists came and we continue to come. Much of our migration was trying to escape the oppression of the Anglish, who followed the Romans unsuccessful attempts to completely dominate Wales. You have to imagine that this was a really hard choice for my ancestors to put their lives on the line to cross the Atlantic into the unknown with only stories of relatives overseas, and that choice must’ve been made under tremendous pressure.

The possibility that Prince Modoc has connections to the Native American Modoc tribe is not far-fetched, considering the similarity between the English rendition of the Welsh name Madawg and "Modoc." Although not universally accepted, research suggests that Eber, associated with the Hebrews, had a mother named Hua-Mu'ak, who married Selah, son of Kainan-a name variant of Cainan. This name bears resemblance to the Kanien'kéha language linked to the Mohawk, pronounced ˈmōˌhôk. Furthermore, Ne'elatama'uk, identified as one of Ham's wives, has a name echoing the Algonquian word for Tomahawk, otomahuk, meaning “to knock down.” The name Hapi, son of Horus, differs by only one letter from the Hopi tribe and is believed to have established the Hapiru tribe of Babylon, also known as Habiru, which phonetically parallels the name Hebrews. Hapi's brothers included Imsety, which is an anagram of the Métis tribe's name, and Duamutef, whose name appears connected to the Duwamish. Qebehsenuef, who married Kebechet, daughter of Anubis, might have influenced the name Quebec. These observations suggest that further research into the true origins of today's Native Americans is warranted.

The herds of deer remind me of the Sami people the Nordic countries; some of their reindeer skin tents look very much like wigwams/tepees that Native American tribes used to live in.

Good stuff. My mother was adopted in 1949, and had no clue as to her genetics in her youth. She was raised in Colorado but her DNA tests say she is 51% Sami Inuit, and 45% Scottish. Both of her blood parents were in Appalachia 7 generations back starting in the early 1800’s, from two distinct sides of the mountain range. I find it fascinating to think how that came to be, or how she came to be.

Thank you for putting this video together with the time and research behind it. I’m sure you are aware of the many mounds and pyramids that predate the Native American tribes and often contain copper tools, sea shell jewelry, and human remains which are scattered across the country. The Native Americans have said they do not know who made these structures. Could they be from people like the Duhares?

    • @DixieAfterDark

The physical description of the Duhare and the image of the structure they lived in sounds like the Norse people. Historically, the Norse had always been explorers. Could the Duhare have been a mixed group of Norse, Scots, and Irish?
