    That’s a pretty cool system for add on hot water system. Although I totally freak out at the idea that there is so much electrical wires right under the sink where it may leak someday and cause a bigger problem.
    Over here the code don’t even allow sockets underneath the kitchen sink and if you want hot water there you gotta use the storage water heaters.
    But it was so interesting to see this install mate. Thanks for the video

    • @Heatking
      @Heatking  9 месяцев назад +2

      Thanks mate, and interesting to know what it’s like over there too! Yeh it’s quite common having sockets under kitchen sinks here in the uk! Haha

    • @richardlewis5316
      @richardlewis5316 9 месяцев назад +3

      Under many sinks there is a socket for the washing machine and one for the dishwasher. I always put them away from any potential leaks but most houses have RCDs so a leak would not kill anyone! (UK)

  • @killerbean9911
    @killerbean9911 9 месяцев назад +1

    I've only ever fitting one boiling tap before and I thought to myself then, I wonder if it'll void the warranty if I hard pipe all this rather than these flexi's everywhere, would be a much neater job :D
    Easy mistake on the non-return valve, oops! ah well at least the sink won't gurgle while the dishwasher is emptying now

    • @Heatking
      @Heatking  9 месяцев назад +1

      Haha yeh that’s true mate. If the Flexis were shorter, we could make it a neater job. I understand why they make them long though… so diyers can install them haha.

    I had a a scale reducer fitted as part of a new boiler installation. It was fitted around 200mm below the boiler yet the instructions said it had to be a minimum of at least a metre away. I made them move it despite them saying that was where they always fitted it.

    You allowed a hour for undersink second fixing and end up spending half a day ! and customer never wants to cover the extra....................
