On Season 1, this cliff ended with a sad goodbye. 😔
Season 3, we now see Charlotte has grown and come to find a gentleman who truly loves her.
“I am at liberty to marry whomsoever I choose…as it seems, are you”
I get it, she has the freedom to choose too!
I love how this scene is a parallel of the last scene in season 1. We came full circle.
Oh I started full on crying when I realized lol

I wish the following things were in the series: 1. Using first names, especially Xander using Charlotte's name when he confesses his love. 2. Charlotte telling Xander she loves him. 3. Representation from her family at her wedding. Great series overall.
Hi:) In the french version Alexander says Charlotte in the end of his declaration. And if we pay attention in the scene it looks like he is saying something. Maybe the sound wasn't good because of the wind and they cut that line.
@@PatriciaQuintino-pe9wr lucky to have that in the French version. In the English version Alexander says Miss Heywood.
@@MusicMuse83 it's around 3,07 after he talks , from behind we see his mouth moving. In slow motion you can see it better.

I loved this scene, from Leo calling him Papa, the horse peeking out, to the final kiss. I did want Charlotte though to say she loved him. I know he knows it....she gave him signals but I think he deserved to hear it from her.
Actually, I felt the non-verbal communication between them said it all far more poignantly and expresslvely.
Absolutely agree…she should say something not to stay silent, and why she does not fight for and share her feelings?! Overall episode 6 wasn't done very well besides happy ending!
Thank you for showing the cliff scene… memorable moments at the cliffs! I so love the honesty ( finally!) they were able to show to each other ! Zander was finally able to express his heart.❤ The slow moving wedding & reception scenes were so happy……You could feel the love in the room and anticipation of a brand new life! I do hope they air it again.❤

Friends, I am enjoying all of your comments so much.
I love the music in this scene. The orchestra - the strings, etc. - are so perfect for this moment that we’ve been waiting for, for so long. It is heaven to see Alexander and Charlotte walk towards each other on the cliffs, and then hear Alexander declare to Charlotte:
“You bewitched me from the very first moment we met, and ever since my affections have not wavered.”
Sublime and powerful: can’t find the words to describe it. That doesn’t matter.
I treasure that final far-away image on the screen:
To the left is Hannibal.
In the center are Alexander & Charlotte embracing.
To the right is the carriage.
The whole scene takes one’s breath away. ❤❤❤

Can you imagine what Charlotte would have been thinking when the carriage stopped and she saw Alexander standing there? Her mind had to have gone back to Sidney chasing her carriage down and the pain she felt. She had to be thinking “oh no, not this again”.
Such redemption in this ending. And this time from a man who was honorable in his intentions.
What a perfect ending to their story! I loved it and I appreciate that you kept this video Alexander and Charlotte centric. One thing I did not like about Season Three was there were too many story arcs which prevented us having more screen time with the whole reason we were watching: Xander and Charlotte!
I remember the first time I saw this scene, I just wept! I was so caught up in the happiness and relief in both their eyes. Finally something good happens on those cliffs!❤❤

It was way too short. We saw them only 7 minutes. The "make a life with me" scene seemed more powerful. I'm so sad we didn't get to see more about their life together 😭😭 please come back don't leave us
All their scenes were too short!! Even both cliff scenes I'd say?! We needed/wanted much more dialog and scenes with them, going into more depth of their love, friendship and learning about each other!! 😢...I loved what they did say tho and the scenes together, but just felt cheated lol bc they're just SO good and sweet together it's never enough!! ❤
Exactly ! Plus i would have loved to Gear them call eachother Xander and Charlotte. The slow motion ending was cute but come on! We needed more than that.

I think it could have been interesting that instead of Ralph, Xander’s rival would have been Sydney in season 3 (by some twist). I am sure Charlotte would still have choosen Xander 😊

It was really windy. I wonder how much trouble they had, keeping her hat on.
This whole ending was superb, it makes me cry everytime I rewatch. But I do miss they calling each other by their names and her family at the wedding. We know her father is a model for her, I think their absence was a big failure.

Thank you Susan for thé beautiful vidéo le suspens aura duré jusqu' au bout c' est la grande scène de la déclaration il sait que c' est sa dernière chance mais il est fort dans son coeur et dans sa tête a présent et il trouve tous les mots qu' il faut et que Charlotte attend il l' appelle Charlotte et non miss heywood pour la première fois d' ailleurs c'estau même endroit sur la côte ou Sydney l' avait quitter en lui brisant le coeur la boucle est bouclée mais cette fois c' est positif et Charlotte si elle pleure c' est de joie quant aleonoraqui court pour prévenir son papa c'est absolument adorable car depuis le début de l' entrée de Charlotte dans leur vie elle st sa plus fidèle supportrice la aussi nous sommes dans le lien je suis à la fois émue et comblée par cette happy end que j' appelais de tous mes vœux love is the great winner
On ne badine pas avec l' amour l' amour est une affaire sérieuse il peut détruire faire mourir mais surtout il peut construire et reconstruire la vie nos vies et cette magnifique scène finale nous le démontre par sa puissance on leur avait tout pris et tout leur est redonne nous attendons tous et toutes de recevoir une aussi belle déclaration
