Elektron Syntakt: How to Make Generative Ambient Music

In this Syntakt tutorial, you will learn how to create generative ambient patches. These patches are based on random parameters and modulations, allowing you to sit back and enjoy the music without ever hearing exactly the same sound. You will discover how to craft generative melodies, set up a generative bass, use noise for atmospheric soundscapes, and utilize LFOs, delay, and reverb for creating variation and depth.
Since the sequencer on the Elektron Digitakt or Digitakt 2 is quite similar, you can transfer the ideas and settings to those machines as well! The video is mostly about the sequencer and the LFOs, less about individual sound design, which means that you can use the technique with your favorite sounds.
