I think that the rings are somewhat of a upgrade to the miraculouses becuz Clout & Venom both can be blasted like a energy projectile and Genesis can create objects with powers.
The biggest frustration I had in Evolution that when Ladybug & Rabbit Noir had Monarch trapped in 1940’s Paris where young master Fu and Marie-Anne left each other, while Monarch was down, Ladybug could’ve you know? TAKEN BACK ALL THE MIRACULOUS SO MONARCH COULDN’T TUTN THEM INTO FRIGGIN RINGS IN THE FIRST PLACE?!
That would defeat the entire purpose of her being chosen as the bunny miraculous user, her job is pretty much to keep the timeline in check/preventing alternate realities/time being messed up
Basically just rings with the Miraculous Symbol on it that can glow and the Miraculous Powers mixed with Technology

How on earth was he able to turn the big miraculous into small rings and turn the small miraculous into regular rings.
I hope Ladybug can restore them back somehow after Monarch made them into rings
