Ireland offers some great scènes, beautiful country and friendly people. Great content Darren! I think Thomas is right on the shot, if the light is right.
Great video and images. Connemara is beautiful. We are all from Clifden and Galway, my family . Worked in Rossaveal many moons ago in a fish factory and on the trawlers. Go home couple of times a year. Heading back again after Christmas.
Telegraph poles and electrical pylons can be a nightmare in such beautiful places but why the hell in Ireland do they keep building them over rivers, lakes and anywhere else with water etc...
Photoshop 2025 just premiered a distraction removal tool that should work on things like telephone poles and wires. Today's AI is really something. What do you think of Tom's recent video from this location where he discusses maybe not always removing poles and wires? That image with the poles is actually interesting.
Hey John, yeah I saw that update the other day alright ! He makes for an interesting point but I feel that as photographers / creators we should do what’s right for us ! A painter paints their take on a location to make it as pleasing as they feel for them so it shouldn’t be different for photographers ( within reason of course ) flying unicorns are a step too far :-) :-)

Looks like a lot of fun was had…power steering excluded! 📸😎
It was fun for sure ! Thanks for watching
Think that may just be the best shot of poles and wires I’ve seen in some time. Awesome work D 👍
Haha ! #truestory :-)
Very nice Darren, glad your van is back up and running. Congrats on the rock-skipping competition!! You are the champion!
Thanks a million Barbara ! I’ll like to thank my stone skipper teacher! The flat water and the wind 😂😂
@@DarrenJSpoonley Flat water is key, for sure.
Clear proof the S**t happens , never mind how good other things are. Enjoyed the vlog I must admit.
Absolutely! Delighted you enjoyed it Thanks for watching
Absolutely beautiful locations and photos 👏🏻 Sorry that happened to your van but glad it was an easy fix.
Thank you very much Tara! Yeah thankfully it was a quick fix
Nice video Darren, need practice at the stone skipping though.
I did just enough to win tho :-)
Despite being hit in the nuts while doing it :-)
Hope all is well with you
@@DarrenJSpoonley All is good, finally over the coughing and lost voice.
Awesome!!! Love this vid friend 🙌
Thank you very much ! Delighted you enjoyed it
Enjoy your break
Long trips always a good idea to have spare belts in the van. Good thing you weren't out in the boondocks.
I kinda was but even if I had them knowing how to resolve them would be a challenge :-)
Fuses I have as that’s an easy fix 😂
Thanks for watching
Beautiful darren and friends not good at skimming you lot
Thank you very much
I was the champ 💪
beautiful scenes. did you use something like a star tracker to make that hyperlapse at 12:38?
Thank you very much
No that’s a built in feature on the osmo pocket 3

This spot would be a no go for me as the high powered electrical lines spoil the view. I guess one could resort to photoshop…
