    Catching up with your new series. Virtual wave if you passed Tacoma. 👋🏻 Timbits are the best!

    Nice vid! We lived in Sechelt for 10 years and now have a 4 acre lot between Halfmoon Bay and Madiera Park. Hopefully you did some MTBing on the Sunshine Coast as well. I’ve worked on building and maintaining trails, and they are some of the east I’ve ever ridden, even compared to Sedona, White Fish, Hurricane, etc.

      That’s a great spot! I can’t wait to return. I’d love to ride there sometime. It looks fabulous. I’m usually there kayaking. But a bike trip would be amazing.

    As a Canadian: literally nobody ever calls it Timmy hortons. Most often Timmy’s, or Timmy ho’s 😊

      Neat, we discovered it on chance as a place to quarantine with a case of Covid. It wasn’t the most fun visit but we always wanted to return. And a year later it turns out it’s way more fun when you feel better. We love that area. Thanks for watching!

    Looks like a great trip. I wonder if using a zip tie to secure the bandit to the spigot would help it seal and stay on?

    • @Famagogo
      @Famagogo  Год назад

      That's a great idea that I haven't ever tried. Maybe one of the releasable/reusable zip-ties could be perfect. I'll have to give it a try.

    Looking forward to the coming episodes. What kind of drone do you use? Does it have a follow function or do you direct it from the van as you drive? Or is that part of the secret sauce 😊 My brother lives in Cape Meares in Oregon - it is so beautiful. Stay safe.

      Hey Denny, thanks for watching. I’m currentLy using the DJI Mavic 2 Pro. I do use some of the program modes but also fly a lot by hand. Oregon is super pretty. I’m always happy to make it back there.

    Where are your solar panels? Can’t see if they are on top and if they are with all that stuff how are they charging?

    • @Famagogo
      @Famagogo  9 месяцев назад

      When we mounted our Starlink on the roof we removed our last solar panel. We have the RoamRig 250amp 2nd alternator and it charges our house batteries so fast. I am a big fan of solar but we ran out of roof space with our kayaks. Thanks for watching!

    How tall is your van, with boats and is that ever an issue?

    • @Famagogo
      @Famagogo  Год назад

      Hello, with boats our van is 11’6”. Sometimes it’s an issue with low tree limbs and one very low bridge in France. But normally it’s not too much of a trouble.
      Thanks for watching!

      Hi Jeff, All I can say is keep watching and you will know soon enough. It's been on our to do list for a long time too. PS. We will have a field guide for all the sections of our Northbound trip available on our Patreon. It will answer all the questions we did and didn't know to ask before the trip. It gets more in-depth into details and logistics than the video. www.patreon.com/Famagogo
