  • New Zealand is seeking to move closer to the AUKUS partnership between Australia, the UK and US. The three powers form "pillar one" -- a pact to provide nuclear-powered submarines. Australian officials will soon visit Wellington to discuss "pillar two" of the agreement, which relates to cooperation in strategically sensitive areas like artificial intelligence, and advanced cyber and electronic warfare. China said New Zealand's latest move will only stimulate an arms race and has warned the alliance not to undermine regional peace and stability.

Scott Morrison, who pushed for more arms, got a new job. Guess who is he with?
Two positions. As some VP at a war consulting firm and another at a venture capital firm (alongside two US ne0c0ns) which invests in maritime technology, used primarily for war/military purposes. The VC firm recently launched a fund that invests in Aukus related machinations. All falling in place nicely 😉

We can provide diplomatic support by educating against arms and genocide profiteering from USA, UK etc. Work on building global infrastructure and peace instead of the disgraceful mass murder of civilians in Palestine for instance. ANZACs didn't fight for perpetual manufactured hate profiteering.

      Dec 7, 2023
US state secretary Antony Blinken said, “if you look at the investments that we’ve made in Ukraine’s defence to deal with this aggression, 90% of the security assistance we’ve provided has actually been spent here in the US with our manufacturers. This produced more American jobs, more growth in our own economy.”
That’s a nice way to say the war was to launder American and European tax payers’ money into the Military Industrial Complex.

That is a very naive point of view, do you really think dictatorships like China and Russia actually want a peaceful coexistence with their neighbours? Look how China has been annexing islands and reefs in the South China Sea that legally belong to other countries. Dictatorships only respect strength.

the best thing NZ can do is focus on its own country and stay out of trouble. CHINA, RUSSIA and NK have no beef on you. better to stay thay way and focus on growth

AUKUS is the best thing Australia has ever done for a long time.
Suddenly, Australia surpasses China and Russia in defense technologies.

The Americans and the UK thank Australian taxpayers for subsidising their militaries. You might want to check out that submarine agreement, and the rights it gives your partners over your submarines.

Aukus sounds like a white mens club ...what about India, Singapore, Tonga, Fiji, ASEAN...why not invite them..to strengthen its credibility and reliability...
