Peace from QU. Def giving me walking these QU streets at night vibe. Would love to hear you take trip in this direction. C'mon Marlow, let that inner G out!
Love the processing on the drums. Are the drums from the same sample? Had to ask. I need to start working on my drums before putting them in like that I heard that’s how Dre does his drums! Love as always bro
Duuuusty drums hitting hard this snare is A+ ... Mobb Deep no doubt...Thought after seein the title that you will pitch piano way down -5 and get Shook Ones feel lol. Great cook up Bro sound set up warm n beautiful takes me back to mid 90s...Props Over Here!
Awesome work! One thing i would love if you showed in the future, you have a bass in the background and I was wondering if you ever play the bass over samples, and if so how you go about it! Keep up the great work!
If samples have low end I normally don't add bass lines. If the beat is lacking groove then I might add some extra bass line to it. If I need I'll just roll out some of the low frequencies from the sample to give room to the bass. Standard stuff
🔥You make it look effortless but, you can see it’s truly an education on artistic choices…thanks for sharing! Also…that piano reminds me of Francis L. (the stripped down version of Computer Blue by Prince)…and I know it’s NOT that, so all you sample snitching police can relax😂
Brother, show me the production of a commercial track from mpc to a label? interested in the whole process of creation, including mixing and mastering. Is it possible to make a full track using only mpc
Lovely Sunday vibe 😊 appreciate all your videos. Q do you still have the prism Lyra ? And if so after a time of using it how would you compare it to your other interface ?
Yes I do! Use it on all my beats, the lyra has a built in limiter that I love. I can push my beats and it never gets distortion. That alone makes it way better than my previous interface.
@@mpchead ah cool 👌 not seen it your videos so just wondered. I’m thinking of upgrading From a ssl2 and I watched your video on the comparison you did with the focusrite which I thought was interesting and the prism was a clear standout and those over killer limiter clippers seem to be almost worth the price admission alone 😂
The beat is sick, Marlow. But it doesn't particularly hit me as anything remotely classic Mobb Deep vibe. You had a good foundation with those drums, but how you decided to utilize the samples took it away from any classic Mobb Deep vibe. Honestly, this beat sounds like YOU, Marlow Digs. Classic Mobb Deep has one of two sounds: The first sound is A Tribe Called Quest mixed with vintage RZA, which sums up THE INFAMOUS. The second sound is Da Beatminerz mixed with vintage RZA, which sums up HELL ON EARTH. Those two albums sum up the classic MOBB DEEP sound, to me. Their fourth album, MURDA MUZIK, was where I felt they truly developed their own sound, yet retained the gritty elements that made their two prior albums classic. Maybe if you started a new rap crew named Mobb Creep, this beat of yours could be their demo track. Let me be down with that😅
This beat is fire, Im about to get one also, but which one is better mpc live 2 or mpc3000 i need some info on which one to get cus im hearing mpc3000 is better,
@@mpcheadyeah I'm starting, but I rather have the best so I don't have to want more cus I have it already intil something else way way better comes out
All my chops from 2022 mpchead.bandcamp.com/album/2022-crop-not-royalty-free
The best thing about chopping is you get to listen to stuff you would not normally listen to
Definitely, that's the biggest thing about sampling.
Smooth on all angles. The sound, the shots, the edits and the chops. A1 sir 👌🏾
Appreciate that 🙌🏼
The skills speaks for itself my man didn't even have to say a word on the whole video...🔥🔥🔥

Fuse não samplou isso em soldado com caneta de aço?
Tem o mesmo tom mas não me parece, talvez, isso só mesmo ele é que sabe dizer.
Oh gee
Do you Sidechain your kicks?
No, only when I really need, not on this one. That compression effect comes from the main outputs compressor.
