I just came here to say what so many others have said already, Jason: I played through my first Community Expedition and completed it successfully and, despite my being nearly 70 and not exactly being a great tech expert compared to many younger viewers. Ultimately, it's all due to your great videos, guidance and explanations. Thank You so much, I've now got my 'Starborn' ship and the lot, and it feels great to have such a strong build.

The free ship comes from
1) removing all three materials from the ship and then
2) removing the final material from the crashed sentinel pilot currently laying on the ground next to the ship, and
3) quickly backing out before the crashed sentinel pilot had a chance to present any dialogue.
As long as these steps are done in this order and you successfully back out before the sentinel pilot has a chance to present dialogue, you will be able to claim the ship immediately.
