@ScrapaholicHere yeah! it's so much fun and you can still use that UTEE even without the melting pot like regular embossing powders (you probably already know this...but just in case you don't already) It makes them look like glass charms

I just checked and you can get what Ranger calls Project Pans for about $8 if you want more than one pan for the Utee melter. That way you can have one for clear or other colors or if you want to store a color for further use. Great video!
Hi... If you would have let the melting pot cool completely ~~ would the utee peel right off like it does on the crafting mat... I am interested in purchasing a melting pot and utee ~~ so your vids are quite usefull... I just purchased a lot of these silicone moulds on etsy ~~ and I was going to use glitter hot glue in it...but the utee seems more interesting... TFS... Have a fun winter day... Surie
Thanks for your video. It had very clear instructions, which I appreciate. I would have one suggestion. Instead of wasting the UTEE, I've seen people pour it out onto their craft mat and let it harden. Then you can use it again. It's kind of expensive, and this is a way to save money.
I'm jus wondering, in this video u wipe all of the liquid, utee out with paper towel. Can't I pour the utee all out on plastic sheet & let that dry to reuse it??...thx
Hi, Keesha- I've just started using my melt pot and utee, am learning lots. Yes, you can pour the utee out onto a craft sheet and put it in a plastic bag when it hardens, and remelt it. I've also remelted and reused a lot of my molded pieces that weren't just the way I wanted them.
Where did you get the Pewter Rubbing buff stuff and what was it called?? Also did you buff the ruff over poor edges off the broach ? Thank you for a great video.
Hi, what about just putting tin foil over the melting pot. It might mean you never have to clean it again. I'm not sure if it would work but let me know. This is the first time I've heart of that stuff, looks fun to play with.
@rosiecooper1261 Ranger has posted some really good videos on how to use their products. That's where I first learned about it with Susie...uh forgot her last name...lady who developed this product.
What I would do for the black is drip it onto parchment paper for later use. Then let it cool and it will mostly come out and then heat it up and then turn it off and wipe the excess off. This saves product.
you can buy a teflon mat off ebay, they are the same mats just waaaaay cheaper!! they are mats used in large dehydrators but it is the same exact mats. i use these and they are much cheaper

I haven't really had any as long as I don't mix like crazy. gentle stir or use toothpick to pop the few bubbles.

you can also buy more work trays and just pop the new tray in.

you should pour it out on your non stick teflon mat that way you can remelt it instead of wasting it.

why not just use aluminum foil to line the melting pot before using it?

what you can also do is buy the big jar of clear for eleven dollars and mix with ur other colors. so you use less of the colors and they last longer.
