Firstly kudos to Tenzin Chonzom for being calm and wonderfully grounded. Very, very happy that our future administrators will be such genuine individuals. The second thing here, some of the questions. Ridiculous to ask about anime, manga and Korean drama and the show such bias. There are ardent fans across India (and world) and they watch (anime,K-dramas) for the stories, the incredible art work and amazing production values. Further, Indians are a diverse group. There are plenty of people in Kerala, Bengal, Odisha that look very like the northeastern brothers/sisters.

Anime and korean entertainment were consumed by NE way before the rest of the mainland..I think the questions are well fit because it may have provoked some since it the underlying parts of the question has to do more with race and physical appearance than the entertainment aspect. I think it was more of a pressure test.

Questions like why northeast people are watching Korean dramas and movies is not appropriate because he himself don't know that other "Indian youngsters" besides northeast are so much into Korean dramas or movies and some even have married Korean girl or boy. He is surely unaware of it. Then Sir Singh questioning her and when Tenzin is replying on it he don't listen all and cuts her answer off. I don't understand why. However, Tenzin is very talented and very intelligent girl that I have seen so far. I am watching this show everyday and proud of everyone who participate in it.

The genres, lifestyles, emotional display, entertainment, plots coverage, educational learning, filmography nature etc are some factors to mention.
