I see the cassette deck door project like this as far as selling it since everything needs to work,is if you didn't attempt to try to fix it it would be parts but since you rigged it with a modified repair then it should be functional so it shouldn't have to be perfect just work decent. And this stuff is exactly why people sell them for parts but they don't usually have some of the zl and nsx, and naj dual deck Aiwa stereo models for parts available and you ain't gonna find most of the parts for them practically new... As for my 20cd dual tape deck player audiovox I have not seen another one anywhere?! Came from target department store.. anyways it has a big cooling fan on the back of the stereo that has gotten loud over the years and when I loaned it to my brother for the cd player it was practically new so since he hardly used the tape player section it probably just has gum belts lol and the cooling fan probably needs cleaned but honestly I have been weary of taking it apart everything else functions and is in nice shape but it is dusty now and I am not sure if I still have the speakers but I have the stereo and the remote control. But it worries me attempting to fix that one since I can't even locate another one anywhere, and it has like dock doors from a spaceship shuttle to load the cds lol
I have a volume knob issue with my Kenwood av receiver it works backwards lol, I was told just uplug the stereo and leave it unplugged for about a 1hr and plug it back in im guessing that it probably is a smoker issue and needs cleaned since the lense looks dark tinted and every once in awhile I will go to clean it off and the towel wipe turns dark brown in spots yuck
I enjoyed the video it helped me with replacing the cassette belts on my Aiwa NSX-DS50, but now I have no sound whether I'm playing a tape, CD, or radio. It looks like all the internal connections are secure? Any idea what I could be doing wrong?
Hi, i brought the aiwa ZL 700, 39 years ago and its been in the family home and not been touch, Now i have a son who would like to use it and we tried a cassette and it wasnt going round . nothing. a bit like the one you fixed , on the tape deck i have the same problem now, how many tape belts do i have to replace ?
Hi, I have the same system. However, it is extremely temperamental to turn on once switched on at the wall. It’s as if the current isn’t high enough. Any way to resolve this issue?
Excellent job, I have a question, what liquid do I use to clean the Volume button? What is the name of the bottle? I would like to buy it, my AIWA has that problem with the Volume button, it looks like a good product.
@@RetroGamingWithHopper No worries i found it. The white and red output at the back, connect it with a SLX black 2 male phone stereo jack 1.5mm. Got it connected to my phone
I need to change the tape belts in my aiwa it's a cx-naj54 i bought it used from ebay a few years ago when my audiovox 20cd player dual cassette stereo quit playing tapes, because I grew up using my best friend's aiwa cx-nsx500 and it would pound i lived with him and another one of our best friends at the time and the stereo im mentioning he is still using it was bought new by him in Elkhart Indiana in around 1999 and played tapes, cd's and the byr on the radio and it was also the surround sound system for the tv and ps2/Xbox setup and that's what he bought it for,me my expensive stereo was in my car a 86 Buick Regal sport coupe Oldsmobile 307 roller cam v8 factory hd front and rear sway bar car. Panasonic cdq-df44 legacy 300watt amplifier and Jensen xs bass 10's in a small cubic ft twi hatchback ported subwoofer box bought from summit racing and the subwoofer speakers were new from Meijer grocery store in Muncie Indiana, stereo hh gregg in Muncie i had a set of pyramid phase 3 gold series 4x10 speakers in the rear package tray mounted on the bottom, and the cheapest thing I had in it was the dash speakers because in 1998 there was not very many decent options that a kid out of highschool could afford that were worth buying so since only the dr side worked but buzzed i bought a set of $6.95 a piece road gear 3.5 inch replacement speakers from Walmart and they actually sounded fairly decent.. but later on i have had a set of cerwin vega hed 3.5 inch speakers i bought for my 86 Chevy k20 custom deluxe truck but I never used them, and I did have a set of jbl speakers in my 84 Oldsmobile cutlass supreme brougham the previous owner installed they sounded really good and even handling a little bass fairly well
whats this black cube behind the stereo on the CD Player level?
??
The protuberance thing behind the CD Player?

I have this. Do you know how to use the aux cable. So i can connect my phone? thanks
No I sure don't sorry.

I have found that 90% of the problem with cassette decks now is belts and cleaning.
Make a small hole and make a small dowel pin from like a plastic model car parts tree?!
desmontaje bafle z l 500 plaese
I no longer have this stereo.
Na co tam furt čumí? 😃 Snad jasné že to musí celé rozmontovat a dát tomu nové gumičky. Jo, Belts jsou v píči. 😃
Too much work man
It's not work if you like what your doing.
