Such a bone chilling noise. Imagine being deep in the woods and hearing this all around you. Beautifully terrifying
Carl Brehmer yes. I would listen to this all night if I had the chance
I heard this camping in a tent next to a lake and was so mesmerized but at the same time like 👀👀 lol
@@nataliepagliari got to do something with our primordial fears still deep burried somewhere in our dna... these creatures were hunting primitive humans for hundreds thousands of years before we figured out weapons and fire, only then game rules have been changed
Carl Brehmer like your words, “beautifully terrifying “. A murder preceding ?
Definitely the last thing you'd want to hear in that situation
"Gary! Quit It! You're gonna start a howl!"
AWOOOO!!
wikiuser92 AWOOOOO!!!
Garry no NO Garry I SAID NO!!
I didn’t start it ! 😂
Dynell Wilde did you get that from Zootopia that you typed in the comments?
Played this for my 10 year old husky mix and his frail old voice trying to howl along literally brought me to tears 😭
Kinda showing an ancestral connection
I would have cried too
@@jasonhenderson1944 yes this
😭😭😭
@@jasonhenderson1944 I wish humans had a similar ancestral thread of connection running through them. Would be so much easier to be kind to one another and our environment
Played this for my dog. Funniest thing I’ve ever seen, my little poodle, head thrown back, howling with the wolves. 😂
Poodles are hunting dogs ....
Remember, even the tamest, most kindly dog still has some wolf left in them
My dog slept straight though 🤦♀️
Lmao xD

Playing this at full volume shut my annoying neighbors' dogs up. Not sure if they were just humbled into silence or if their owners heard it and got the message, but it worked.
I'm sitting around my fire pit rn and the neighbors dog had been doing a low key howl and I started playing these howling videos and I figured it would either shut up or join in. It quieted down 🤣
@@ernieespinosa9158I love the experience 😊
Hahha
Their songs have been heard for thousands of years... We can’t let them be silent. Their beauty and strength has made their mark on us. Don’t let that ever change.

Well said x

This made both my dogs howl, one sounds amazing, the other one sounds like a broken Telephone ring

He must have been singing a Shakespearean Sonnet. That's why the others didn't understand.
Everytime I hear Wolfs howling, I get tears. So majestic and losing habitat
They are singing in their own unique language. How beautiful 🥰🥰🥰
I was in the middle of nowhere in northern Alberta doing seismic, it was dark and in the middle of January so snow up to your waist, and I heard wolves howling all around me and for some reason it was one of the most surreal but calming things I have ever experienced.
Calming…yes..
Calming?! Sure
Enjoyed winter camping. The howling also tells eachother that they are where they are and that is their space. I would howl with them, and they never violated my camp.
I had a similar experience in AB while doing research, only it was a coyote pack.
Yes I can imagine how soothing
I could sleep soundly to this. I live where I hear coyotes howling most nights, it's a great soundtrack for dreams.
I'm totally playing this for my GSD to get her to howl.
She gave me the "are you an idiot" look all 3 times I played it.
Monty Leverett That's amazing.😃😃
That's nice..I'm jealous...I would love to hear that at night or day even.
Are you kidding me? Yotes are the worst when you hear them “howling”. Wolves all the way
The howling of wolf's makes me feel something spiritual I love it
Thats cos ur possesed by a wolf demon
@@shihowA don't say that
You can see why our ancient ancestors attributed such spiritual power to them

The way the wolf just stops and listens to the others 😭👌
the most haunting yet beautiful sound in this whole world
I agree. I would add heartbreaking as well. I ❤ wolves
I think laughing babies is the best sound but wolves are right up there
I would not survive in the wild. I'd never be able to resist running up to the wild doggos and trying to pet them.
WoW xD same
Wild doggos helped humans survive, hence the modern dog.
Come here kitty kitty 🤣🤣🤣
Your survival instincts would kick in and you would know what to do. Staying away from them if necessary.
Lol samr
Such beautiful creatures. They deserve more love. Their howls are a sign of hope, not danger. 🐺
98% of the 7 million people that look this up did it to show to their dog

George Robins ikr?
I sleep to coyotes howling most nights, the pups are a bit wild, but that's only for a few days to a week, then back to soundtrack of God.
@@SheepdogSmokey I sleep with foxes screaming at night. I'm utterly terrified since they sometimes just come to the back of my house and decide to talk at night.
That's why I have a German Shepherd and my neighbor has a Doberman, the coyotes stay just far enough so I can hear them, the other varmints who aren't smart enough to stay away, the dogs or my 12ga gets them.
On another note, find a store like Atwoods or TSC (not sure if you're in TX) and get some repellent, normally the small of a "large predator's" urine or the like, but so faint you won't notice unless you're applying it. That, or contact your local animal control about ways to deter them.
@@SheepdogSmokey Well, the foxes live in the thicket behind my house (it's like a family of four) and I think some live in the forest across the street, they were there before the house was even built, and me being the sweet one towards animals, I didn't want to drive them further out of their home. Besides my dog's do keep them away, expect for the few curious ones that get too close.
My dogs are really friendly so when the foxes do approach they get happy but the loud noises scare them off.
This takes my breath away and my Heart full of love for them.
same here
I agree. I adore these awsm awsm creatures.
In my case, I think it’s more like admiration
Oh so same here. My family had a Siberian Husky once, he howled too.
i hate them cause they’d kill me 😊

Howling wolves is MESMERISING. FANTASTIC!

I heard something like this many years ago in the Queensland outback of Australia.
Dingoes calling back and forth to each other for what seemed a very long time. Some sounded close some very far away and it was such a magical experiences.
At the time, I saw it as the best Birthday present I could have received!!
That's a nice thing to know.x
had the same experience while being in the outback and sleeping outside in a swag. never felt so comfy again ^^
The chorus of voices is magnificent! So many layers of sound.

Aw! There howls are so beautiful!🐺
They all have distinct howls, did you know that? So if mans not quite as best friend but still pretty okay gets lost somewhere you can track them by their howls.
Course that’s creepy and weird and the wolf will probably never feel secure again but hey it is what it is.
What about Howler Monkey howl?

Love the howling of wolves!! They are so neat!!🐺🐾
I love how they’re just wild and free and able to do what they want and howl as loud as they want. Wish more animals could be free.
I've playing this video for my Cane Corso since he was a 9 weeks and four years later, he still goes off. I Love it
Absolutely beautiful animals I love them
Takes me back to nights of the Ranch in Alberta.
Wondering how far away they were.
Then hearing Coyotes and Mountain lions further off in the distance, confirming that the Wolves were closer by miles.
Love it.
Thanks for sharing this without any dialogue, music or pretty text.
Just the wolf calling other's responding.
Absolutely beautiful music to my ears.

I live in southern British Columbia and I hear this every night around the same time. It’s amazing.
I got to experience a pack of wolves howling once when I was hunting and literally it was the scariest yet amazing feeling ever!
Such majestic creatures
Beautiful! I have been a wolf advocate for most of my life. They are perhaps one of the best keystone predators in north America.
In 2000 my soulmate and I were sitting outside the gates to Wolf Re educational Center "WERC" in Winchester Idaho. The wolves within were the remaining wolves to the documentary by Jim Dutcher "Wolves at the Door" of National Geographic".
We were waiting for the gates to open early in morning so I could observe and watch these magnificent animals.
As we were waiting the wolves began to howl. It started with just one wolf, and then the others joined the chorus. As we sat inside our motorhome listening, the howling just became something so much more to me. Their howling touched me unlike any other sound ever has. I felt a tingling at the base of my spine that slowly traveled up my spine to the back of neck with goosebumps raising all over my body. I began to cry silently because it was beautiful. They spoke to my heart and soul of what the world should be listening their link to one another in this world that we humans know so little of.
It is an experience that is hard to explain to anyone who just doesn't understand just how precious these creatures are to the balance in nature. It would serve humans more to shut up and listen and learn from them. They are far more intelligent than humans can ever understand.
They deserve to live wild and free without the interference of humans.
WE ARE A FAR MORE DANGER TO THEM, THAN THEY EVER HAVE BEEN TO US.
Pomma Emeraldeyeswolf So beautifully stated and so very true! The wolves are true nature at its best! Wolves are such special beautiful and important animals, and us humans could learn soooo much from them!!! : )
We lived in Alaska on & off from 2001 to 2012. We wanted to experience more of the wilderness and wildlife, so that is what we did. I will never get enough of the wolves, and other wildlife while we still have it. Now the fight is on to save it all while we still can.
Pomma Emeraldeyeswolf awakening of the wolf within :)
Pomma Emeraldeyeswolf me too! I had goosebumps, too!
Pomma Emeraldeyeswolf that was awesome, I always wanted to go somewhere where there are wolves, but here where I live, (in Spain) there aren't any. And my mum doesn't want to go near a wolf zoo.
I'm part Cherokee and the wolf howling is sweet music

TheKro16 Pocahontas
The camera shook when they were howling beautifully ❤
I just read the memoirs of U.S. Grant. He was in Texas and heard wolves howling. A guy he was with, who was knowledgeable about wolves, asked him how many he thought there were. He thought there were 50 but said 30, thinking he was over estimating them. When they finally found the wolves, there were only 2. Grant was astounded at how much noise they made.
"Don't howl! If you do, all of us will ... and can't stop o_o"..
Awesome...I have four wolfy dogs! This gets a head tilt! Love the background singers😀
Omg I showed this to my puppy and he couldn’t stop howling 😂😂😂😂🤣🤣
Cries of connectedness to one another and WOW!! Just how beautiful it truly is ❤❤❤❤ sorry no social media 👍👍👍 up ...few likes also means no desperate need for approval of comments..😊😊😊
They can’t get any more perfect. This is seriously music, they are so beautiful.
This actually made my beagle (well begador really) stop howling finally, when literally nothing else would 😂
I got my red nose pitbull to howl to this.
His eyes and ears instantly got engaged and he genuinely looked like he knew what they were saying. When the pack sounded together he got worried and trembled for a couple of seconds before I shut it off.
It’s crazy to think that after all these generations of breeding and domesticating, dogs still have clear instinct from the wolf.
Beautiful! In person it is absolutely breathtaking!
Always gets my German Shepherds to howl. Wolves will forever be one of my favorite animals.
I love that like 1:30, she was just "Ok, I've said my piece"

Beautiful Creatures !
I am now convinced wolves are ancient creatures from the outer space, telling a story of the universe with their beautiful voices.
The Spirit world speaks to him. Only he knows what it says. From a moonlit pass in a valley not yet known to man this sound comes. It fills his ears and his heart with caution. It is the sound from his ancestors reaching out calling to him. He answers that his time will soon come and join them.
tried this to get my doggo howling. it worked... but only when the whole family joined in. imagine six people and a dog howling to a stereo box xD

Beautiful sounds. I love it when they sing.
Wolves are just so amazing this world is nothing without them
I was stationed in Alaska, ft Richardson just outside of Anchorage. Most of the post is wildlife refuge, and there was a pack of wolves that lived way out away from everything. Sometimes during field training at night you could hear them howling in the distance, and the sound activated some primordial human response, hair stands on end and you feel a dread fear. Even listening to this I get goosebumps.
