  • "I Just Want to Be Your Everything" is a song recorded by Andy Gibb, released in April 1977 as the first single from his debut album Flowing Rivers. It was Gibb's first single released in the United Kingdom and United States. It was written by Barry Gibb who also provided backup vocals and was recorded in October 1976 at Criteria Studios in North Miami, Florida. Paul Harris played the keyboards, Albhy Galuten played the synthesizer, and Ron Ziegler played the drums on the track.
    The song reached #1 in the US, Australia, Brazil, Chile, and Canada and was the most played record of the year. It was also Billboard's #2 ranked song of 1977. In the United States, Andy became the first male solo artist in history to have three consecutive number one singles on the Billboard Hot 100, with all of the weeks at the top of the chart happening in less than a year, from July 30, 1977, through July 29, 1978.
