Carl Kuyath same here. I spent hundreds + hours listening to and deeply loving this man. Miss him to this day and buy a small bouquet of flowers every year on the day he passed. Even had to miss two days of work when he passed. I just listened to his albums repeatedly for those 2 days. And to this day, I have several sets of his albums in various condition, with 1 full set in unopened perfect condition 💕✌🏼😢

He was always well spoken, well dressed, overly polite and patient with stupid TV interviewers, and participated in so many TV shows, without showing any typical signs of cocaine addiction, as described by the Betty Ford Clinic. Sooner or later one should have noticed signs, but I saw NONE. From Punky Brewster in September 1984, Soleil Frye Moon remembered still 35 yrs later, how everyone on the set was in love with Andy, esp the children. She could still sense the smell of his skin! I admire the way he fought until the end, doing his best to eek out a living on the night club circuit. I would never call him an addict, to me he was a wonderful, tender and troubled soul, worthy of all our respect and compassion.

I think Andy is just 19 here and its tragic he barely made it to 30, dying from cardiovascular failure due to cocaine and other drug use. English Bee Gees - most think they're Australian. Back in those days I was (and still am) a rock/blues guy but I sure did like AG as an artist. He could deliver. This song may sound a bit sugary but it is well orchestrated, great melody, tons of chord changes, and all around just a good song. The fact that Andy made it what it is means the most. R.I.P. I was born in "72 and I remember the late 70s. I remember this song being on the radio. I had older teenage cousins who loved the Bee Gees and Andy. I think they are as important as the Beatles. If you look at the songs they wrote and their style. Just saying!

Andy will be forever remembered as young talented and beautiful. It's so sad depression and low self esteem lead to his drug and alcohol use which weakened his heart. He will always be cherished. Rest in peace andy.
