INSANE Married At First Sight Body Language Analysis is Life-Sucking | Nonverbal Analyst Reacts

- Well, 90 Day Fiance has a similar fish in its proverbial television pond...Married At First Sight. The show features people who agree to participate in a strange experiment: Each covenants legal marriage with a complete stranger. "Specialists" allege that they use scientific matchmaking methods to determine each couple, who will not have met or had contact with each other until the wedding day. Needless to say, it causes some messy mess to mess everywhere. I hope you enjoy my nonverbal analysis of this insane program.

Dude says he doesn't like surprises, yet signs up for a show where he marries a woman he literally just met.
Exactly what I thought, and was definitely staged when he said don’t cut your hair off tomorrow and she said she actually had plans to.
Ikr 😄
I had the same exact thought 😂

@cancel this I would Brittany right in front of him. Right then. But that's me.
Awful guy: "She's not attracted to me"

🤣🤣🤣!
Best comment on the thread
The “men age like wine and women age like milk” comment made me big angry. I’m so glad you called him out on his insecurity!
Fine cheese versus vinegar 😌
@@kmhkennedy I like that comparison much better!
I think what he meant to say, was "men are allowed to age, and women's value is based off of their sexual desirability in society." What a misogynistic ass.
I’ve never even heard that expression and I was just like dumbfounded.
i heard that and i was like “i thought women aged like a fine wine”
"The thing" the last guy was holding over her head was when they came back from their honeymoon, her ex boyfriend had offered to pick her up from the airport. She said no, but her best friend (who was secretly seeing the husband on the side) told him that the ex had offered and so he was holding that over his bride's head to justify his not being attracted to her/seeing her best friend on the side. Needless to say, she left him before the season even finished. She dumped the best friend too. You're welcome.
I had a strong feeling he was the one cheating. It's ALWAYS the person making accusations without evidence that are cheating behind the one they are accusing!!!
Thank you, indeed! I came here specifically to fill Logan in, and you did it for me🙂
this is what jesus meant by doing works of service, thank you

Best part of the video!

I don’t think anyone did say this ? (i think this guy made it up ) .

Logan at the beginning of every video: “This is only 80% effective”
Me at the end of every video: “I will believe literally anything this man tells me they are thinking”
He is not that accurate in his assessments. He is viewing really old footage of these couples and despite him saying they are disasters and won't last-- some of them did. I'm speaking on both Married at First Sight and 90 Day Fiance.
@@shelleypasini2463 the thing is, those people's dynamics and way of handling things must've went through some changes.
Because based on their behaviors here they wouldn't have lasted long happily had they stuck to their same ways of treating each other. So I suppose he's accurate in that sense.
And these shows gave them a small window of interactions before making the decision of bonding forever, so they needed more time to learn about one another.
@@shelleypasini2463 Yh but just because they’re still together doesn’t mean they are necessarily happy or healthy

Mrs. Observe is the real MVP!!
I appreciate that this series is less analyzing body language and more Logan showing that he’s a really decent dude and explaining how relationships are supposed to work.
Yassss! The back and forth between him and his honey is everything
He’s definitely married for a reason! Good dude.
I LOVE when he gives his advice for life and relationships. He seems like such a honest and noble man
I'm wondering, if he might have a bachelor brother...
I really hope this doesn’t come across mean, but a bald man looking into a camera telling me “it’s just hair, it grows back” had me fucking rolling. 😂
Technically hes not bald. He shaves due to a receding hairline
lmao, me too
I didn't even think of that 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
"Dog years? We're human but you might be a dog" *airhorn*
I know being a “dog” is more of a saying, but frankly I’m offended! Even the worst dogs on earth are 100x better than him smh
Imagining how Logan might be in an argument with someone 😂
"What's that, contempt I see on your lips? Come on, I know you aren't sorry based on your arm gestures."
Seriously! Like I love the way he thinks overall but in a lot of ways I'd hate to be in a relationship with him!!!! (Granted I'm a therapist so I sometimes get the same thing 🤣🤣🤣)
😂
The most miserable, as in terribly unhappy, person I'd ever met in my life (I'm now a grandma) was a guy in high school who's parents were both prominent psychiatrists. He opened up to me once and said that they were going to "...analyze me into an early grave." Yikes. 🙁
Well it might be easier on video 😅 I’m sure he can pick up a lot in person! But it’s more in-depth analysis reacting to a video you can rewind and pause.
it dawned on me that his wife must lose every argument
Shout out to Logan's wife, who sacrificed herself to bring us good content. That's what supportive SOs do for each other.
She’s OUR wife now
True MVP
@cancel this aww, you're dripping with insecurities...poor thing!
@cancel this Interesting… my fiancé has this same point of view and it took me a long time to respect his point of view because I didn’t get it. I still don’t really get it because if I went to a club with my girl friends to dance, to use that example, I would never feel tempted to go off with some other guy just because he’s physically attractive. This is because a) I have self control, and b) Attractive guys are a dime a dozen. My fiancé is a lot more than just an attractive guy to me. There’s no contest.
I had to think long and hard about my decision because I don’t like feeling like someone is trying to control me and I believe you should trust your partner, etc and I had never been with someone who shared his point of view before so I was taken aback by it - I came to the decision that my fiancé - then boyfriend - was worth giving up things like going to clubs, hanging out with male friends, etc because doing so hurt him and was damaging to our relationship, both of which I did not want.
I’m sharing this to try and explain why people may not see things your way. If they are not the type to be easily tempted then it’s likely hard for them to see what the big deal is and they will instead likely see it as a lack of trust, and will be offended by that lack of trust. I don’t think either point of view is wrong; they are just different.
“Everyones the villain in this show.” 😂😂😂😂 I love how accurate that statement she made was! Love the husband-wife energy!
lol... I had told my ex boyfriend that I was going to shave my hair "in a month". I remind him every week and he just smiled. When I actually did, he screamed at me, told me I was selfish and that I should have asked permission. I broke up with him because the way he spoke to me, was not the way I let people speak to me. it was a 5 years relationship...so weird to me.
Physical attraction is an important aspect to romantic relationships. Hair is under one's control unless you experience medical hair loss. Your partner should have told you that he would be turned off by a shaved head in advance, but that is still a valid thing for him to feel.
Glad you got rid of that trash.
You communicated your intention and you chose what was best for your body.
💗
@@mrs.g.35 His reaction of calling her selfish and saying that she needed to ask him for "PERMISSION" isn't valid reaction though....especially. Just because you're in a relationship with your partner doesn't give you the entitlement to treat them like a fucking child.
I was dating a guy who flipped out when I got a trim even after explaining that I wanted to grow my hair out and trims are needed in order to do it in a tidy way. There is no excuse for a guy to get upset about a woman's hair. I'm glad he's gone.
I like when a guy has slightly longer hair. Does that mean I would lose my attraction if he loses it due to age or decides to shave? Of course not.
When I was younger I had a dog who had a lot of medical issues and she was definitely not the prettiest and couldn't play much with me by the time she was older. But I still loved her and took care of her, and the same should go with people.
I've heard from a cancer researcher that breast cancer is especially hurtful to women because so many husbands divorce their wives while they're going through treatment. As if the only reason they married was to have the wife's breasts and that's absolutely disgusting. Doesn't matter if a physical change is intentional or necessary, this shit happens and it should not be tolerated.
@@TheOneTheOnlyToast if you're husband wouldn't be attracted to you with a certain hair-cut, do yourself a favor and don't go getting yourself a chronic health condition.. Jesus. I propose a "Married at First Sight" made with this improved scientific matchmaking method:
1. Film a 5 second "baseline" clip of each applicant speaking
2. Show applicants the 5-second clips of all potential matches, while filming their body language & facial expression
3. Logan makes the matches based on each person's individual reactions :D

I think I finally realized why I like youtube channels like this. Just recently, I began to learn that I'm probably on the autism spectrum, and as a part of that, I don't really get body language. What this channel does (as well as other JCS-type channels that analyse lying behavior and such) is help me fill in those gaps of knowledge. I can already tell that I'm getting a bit better at discerning emotions through body language, so thanks for being one of those resources for me!
Good for you ! 😁
Right out of the gate...
Logan: "There's not a good guy in this situation. Why are they both so terrible?"
Mrs. Observe: "Everyone's the villain on this show." 😂😂
My favorite part!! 😂
Mrs Observe is an excellent title.
"mrs. observe" is the cutest thing i have ever read in my life this is a 10/10 comment
Haha, why thank you! But to my chagrin and dismay, I cannot take credit for the title. That's oft' how Logan's wife (Mrs. Observe) is referred to during his live streams, which I have attended with way more enthusiasm than is okay. But yeah, thank you! 😂
I just got to that part!! I'm dying of laughter!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
The last couple, Zach and Mindy: It turns out he was secretly texting one of her bridesmaids that he met at the wedding and they were talking behind Mindy's back. The Bridesmaid told Zach that MIndy asked her ex to pick her up from the airport when she got back from the honeymoon. What really happened: Mindy's ex offered her a ride home from the airport and she declined.
Zach was just trying to turn the tables and make Mindy look like a sneaky liar while he is, in fact, the one whose pants are so on fire, they're nuclear.
Quite!
Ty for the scoop
Omg tysm for this info
She wasn't a bridesmaid, but she was still a very good friend who attendedthe wedding. That makes the situation no less slimy for the two of them to do behind her back, just clarifying because I know her 3 bridesmaids were disgusted with what they did.
Then he was trying to gas light her!!!😠
If I had a partner who told me that I couldn't cut my hair, I would've scheduled an appointment at the barbershop the NEXT day. Try me, I dare you.
I’m not adventurous with my hair in the slightest. But saying that to me would be the quickest way to get me to chop it all off immediately.
That guy needs serious emotional education.
Yep obviously it’s fine to potentially not like a style choice your partners making but it would never give you the right to say they can’t do it just because of that 🙄
I had a pixie cut when my ex and I got together and then after he would baraid me for "looking like a boy". Alright so what IS your preference then? Dudes like this are so insecure.
Call me Baldilocks! 😘
Soooooo funny story: I got invited to be on this show in 2014. Cold call from the casting team. I had already been married for two years and all I could do was laugh hysterically 🤦🏼♀️🤣
That's hilarious 🤣🤣🤣🤣
That explains how these people got on the show then...
"my wife wants to see me die inside"... Cracked me up.
No no no. The last couple? "Some" of her friends told him she was being deceitful? No. ONE of her girlfriends who has been MESSING AROUND with him and flirting with him told him that she was being deceitful. Which she wasn't. What she "did" was literally of no consequence and the fact that she didn't tell him about it was so ridiculous, it would be like telling someone you just barely met every detail of your day right when you meet them. Anyway. I think you still nailed his disgusting personality.
Edit: just in case anyone's curious, her ex bf contacted her to ask if she wanted a ride home from the airport after her honeymoon, and she rejected him. She never lied or anything of the sort. He COULDN'T say it because it would have revealed he was in extremely frequent contact with her friend right after the wedding.
Thank you I was looking for this comment LOL
wowww what an absolute piecec of garbage. I hope she left him. He pings right off my skeeze and/or danger meters.
Definitely make a part 2! That guy talking about aging like wine 🍷🤣 Projection is real!
Woooooow what a douche. So he's projecting his own deceit onto her and manipulating her, or trying to. I sincerely hope she's not with him and at least slapped him or something when she left. He deserves a good kick in the ass
I watched that season and hated him the whole way through. She actually seemed genuinely nice and he, almost from the beginning, was so mean to her. He was only concerned about how he came off on camera because he never wanted to see her off camera, called her unattractive over and over again, and fucked with her friend and another wife on the show. He sucks.

The look that those two women shared with each other after the guy dipped out of the convo was the typical look that women give each other when they both concur that they were spun a yarn by the same player. The ex is like ''see now what I put up with'' and the other woman is ''yup''

I love how Logan tries to keep this scientific but can't help throwing in roasts now and then and it's the funniest thing
If i was married to a body language expert i would 100% make him analyze this trash too 😂😂
🤣I think we all would! luckily, both me and my husband are body/facial language analyses. But when he’s busy playing his video games, at this point after over 7years, I can literally just imagine what he would be focusing on (which I guess in a way helps me to focus on different aspects then I naturally would have before I met him) when I want somebody to bounce off of, and it’s like a whole conversation in my head. At least I can have conversations in my head sigh..I’ve been really down lately about the fact I have aphantasia and learned that means I have no minds eye. (Like when people tell you to imagine something in your head, I always though that was a metaphor) All I see is black, I can’t actually SEE something if I close my eyes and imagine.,to me it’s just an idea. But, I can have full out conversations in my head and I also have many abilities as a psychic. I hate the word psychic because most people think of it as maybe one or two things, but in reality there is no psychic that is alike and there are so many “abilities”. To me, that’s more natural than closing my eyes and picturing anything other than black. Anyways, why am I ranting about this 😂 I have no idea, but clearly it’s because it’s been bothering me and my man is STILL playing video games.
Okay, I'm here for your crime commentary, it's wonderful, and I absolutely loathe reality couples TV - HOWEVER. This is the best thing ever. I love how much you hate this. I remember shaking and being so scared because I couldn't recollect doing anything- I didn't even know he was seeing someone, also that is something I would never do, so out of character for me.
I poured through my texts, dms, call logs, but I couldn't find anything, I finally figure don't who the girl was and messaged her asking if I done or said something and she said he did the same to her- except that she messaged me-
Long story short he was a narcissist and me and this girl supplied him with the attention he wanted, she was a nice girl.
Hope she's doing okay out there.
Zac is giving me major flashbacks to a toxic ex. We co-owned a car but when he left, he took the car and started putting a steering wheel lock on it so I couldn't drive it. Of course he tried to stick me with the payments and insurance, even as his actions literally made me homeless. Fortunately, I was able to file my lawsuit against him for free; he immediately gave in and settled. (When a deputy arrived to serve him, he apparently thought he was being arrested. Guilty conscience.) When his settlement money cleared, I immediately filed a motion to dismiss my lawsuit; nonetheless that evening he called and started whining and poking just like Zac here, trying to figure out how I was going to "screw him over" and wanting sympathy (from his HOMELESS EX) for his anxiety. I really hope he's out there suffering all by himself and not inflicting it on anyone else.
@@FionavanDahl I’m happy you got away from him :)
@@kittystetson6737 We didn't last past 3 years, we're actually friends now(2 kids together) and when I notice that he's going down the same road with his gf, I pull him into line and point it out to him. When we met he thought I was a weak woman, then he got to know me and realised that it wouldn't work because I used to tell him to "dry your eyes and quit whining.." So he left when our youngest was 3 months old, left the country and ended up marrying a woman 4 months later, I sent them a congratulations card and gift for their wedding, he bought a house and I guess he met his match because she got the house in her name and then divorced him.... oh karma. Obviously there are things that happened that she was able to get the house in her name, but I'm not divulging it here. He is an awful ejit, it's like his life is wash, rinse, repeat... there's no talking to him either. His current gf doesn't take his shit and I pick from the other side so he's not as bad as he used to be. He grew up in East Europe so the culture was kinda different to ours in West Europe, also his childhood wasn't fantastic either.
I'm really glad that you got away from him, Always look after yourself and remember to love yourself first, that's my 48yr old advice to you, I'm assuming you're in your 20s, early 20s and it's good that you learned this lesson young, I wish you well for the future, take care :-)
He needs to react to Damian and Giannina at the 2 years anniversary of love is blind when he brings Francesca 😂😂😂
The tether ball guy was actually really nice (I watched that whole season) but she was mean to him so much that at this point he’s just frustrated
I remember actually really liking him. It was long ago that I can’t remember why.
19:57 "if you look really closely at her micro displays, she's is upset." Hahaha i LOST IT
I love how annoyed he is. "No spring chicken, she is 32" was... wow.
This is what happens when parents let their kids leave the cellars they end up making Childish comments on national TV shows and embarrassing them.
32 is old!? What does this guy like college girls? Teenagers!?
@@sweetchocolatesecret He walks into his potential girlfriends house and see's one bar stool at the bar and hears the cry of a masculine woman shout ill be right there i just stubbed my toe. ;)
I love how Logan becomes genuinely hooked on the drama of this show

This guy ended up being a complete psycho. He was lying about things, and was trying to make her look bad and was just trying to get out of things. I actually watched TV his one and he basically just wasted her time for like 6 weeks.
He never moved in with her or stayed with her during the honeymoon. Such a weirdo!
Season 1 is a gold mine. Particularly Jaime and Doug, as they stayed married and ended up having children. Maybe you could do progression clips of couples through the season and see if you can tell who can survive and who separated?
this is a fabulous idea
How do I like this more than once?
The girl who flipped the table and her husband are still together. Both were hotheads and have taken a lot of time to figure each other out in healthy ways. Honestly, good on them.
Yes, I love them! But I’m sad they haven’t posted on their RUclips’s in forever. As far as I know though, they are still doing great!
The tether ball guy spoke like a fricking robot like he had never experienced human speech it was so freaking weird.
My boyfriend asked me how I’d feel if he cut his hair yesterday, SUPPORT, you’re supposed to support and love Jesus Christ lmao it’s not that hard. Told him he’s bootiful in any change
I mean, you are allowed not to like it, but in the end, it's their body.
My SO and I sometimes joke with that. Him that he'd shave his head, me that I'd cut my hair super short. We both are honest to say we would really prefer the other not to follow through. That being said, if they chose to do it, so be it. ^^
So the last couple: apparently her ex contacted her and she blew it off "nope sorry married goodbye" and someone told the new guy and now he's hanging it over her head?
His crazy asf
Omg thank you, I was scrolling through the comments just hoping someone knew the thing 😂
I wish he’d just come out and say it. It was driving me nuts. I don’t think I could deal with someone beating around the bush accusing me like that.
@@Alena-cq1ze I had an ex do it once while I was working because he heard from some "reliable source" that I was a prostitute. but I just wasn't.
He finally admitted he heard it from his uncle (who I had never met) but allegedly my friends-ex-boyfriend bought meth from his uncle in the past and told him a story about knowing a prostitute, who then told my ex and my ex just knew it was about me?
It was some crazy, stupid, I'm glad I got out before we got married, shit. He always thought I was cheating yet it was always him trying to have an online affair. Total projection. 😏
@@K.B.P. oh god I just got a flashback how I was pushed out of a group of friends only to find out it was because one of the girls didn't like me in middle school - I literally never even spoke to her in my life. Gaslighting at its finest.
"Men age like wine and woman age like milk" is the wildest line I've heard 😂😂. Who says this? 🤣🤣
douchey narcissistic misogynists I'd guess lol
I've heard it hundreds of times- you've never heard that before? Funny to see typical shaming language with response "those guys never get laid". First having sex with women today as pretty much easiest thing there is, especially younger women (they're generally attracted to older more stable and mature men). Second men don't require female validation to determine their worth. Third, what he is referring to is loss of fertility associated with women in late 30s and 40s Women know this even if they don't admit it, i just looked up plastic surgery rates by age and the age group 35 to 50 (women) gets half of all cosmetic surgerical procedures. I'm not judging women's choice to have optional surgery to try to look younger again but why would so many do that if they didn't age poorly?
Update, I'd like to withdraw any implied support i had for that guy, he is a total jerk
Women mature men stay babies🤓
@@SoulDelSol because whether we age poorly or not, we fear that men like you will leave us for a 25 year old if we don't erase all signs of aging. Because somehow, we let men get the idea that women aren't "supposed" to age, so when we do, it's some sort of shock to them
I bet the experts real goal/instructions was to get "good dramatic tv".
I love your and your wife's dynamic. It creates a great juxtaposition between the parody of relationships on the show and what a real relationship is like.
Some of the guys in this show really made me feel like if the camera's weren't around they'd end up beating these girls. It's really uncomfortable.
Just a note that with the couple where he told the woman she was fake--this is definitely not his best moment. She had been bullying him and verbally attacking him (in a "joking" but clearly not joking manner) throughout the show and he hit a boiling point. (Not excusing this moment, but giving context).
💯. The context in this one is off. She was really mean to him before this.
I never saw this episode but yeah, I could tell she had been bullying him and he was hurt for a while. Poor guy.
but how is calling someone fake an "asshole" move or mean... I feel like that's just being blunt especially she was being fake. he could've called her so many other actually mean synonyms for fake.
@@TheOneTheOnlyToast yeah I really dont understand how he called the guy a "terrible person" and she was just "fake". I never watched the show, but it seemed clear that she was a bully. He even mentioned she was manipulative with the facial expressions and head scratch. Yet he's... 'terrible'?? This seemed like a really terribly inaccurate take on the situation.
Exactly and the only reason he made the mans mans comment was because how much she try to test him on his manhood. She was purposely trying to get a rise or “Alpha male” attitude out of him.
I’m barely ten mins in and I just have to say . Thank you wifey for doing these videos because Logan’s reactions are priceless hahaha 🤣
I love your wife being apart of the show. I love that she put this together for you to react to. This is so entertaining. And it's cool to hear her voice after you've spoken about her so many times. I just love this!
Man's man guy was right about himself aging less. He doesn't sound a day over 12.
boom 💥!!
I’ve watched pretty much every season on the show. Trust me in that situation he wasn’t the bad guy. She manipulated him, constantly put him down verbally and emotionally because she wasn’t attracted to him. Them when they finally had sex she developed some kind of sick attention to him, but he was no longer into her. On decision day she said yes to staying together but the poor guy who was pretty much bullied by her said no. Based on posts after decision Day the became friends later but never got back together she’s now married to someone else with a kid
This guy is the ultimate anti-incel. So great to see a man who doesn’t get his “confidence@ from putting women down
You'd love Psychology in Seattle! Dr. Honda is also the anti-incel and honestly gives me hope for humanity, I get so much comfort watching him & Logan.
Most of the guys there weren't incels or didn't seem like it to me. What you mean?
That whole clip with the tether-ball guy just gave me serious "serial killer" vibes, or like major vibes that, if the cameras weren't on them in that moment, he would have 100% been physically abusing her right then and there. All of my alarm bells were fucking *_clanging_*
Omg, yes. My read on that was "open hostility" like he really hated her in that moment.
I love your videos, but I extra love the ones you do with your wife. It’s HILARIOUS to me when you watch a clip and then then and look at her like “WTF did I just watch?” 🤣
9:53 any guy who uses the term “spring chicken” gives me major red flags.

Just... Wow
@@birdyfeederz7940 I just 😐 ugh
Haha agreed! My boyfriend said that to me when I was 27 and he was 39! I’m not a spring chicken any more, I almost spat out my coffee! Nevertheless got rid of him shortly thereafter.
@@Chunter060 that falls into the "jokes I can make about myself, but you're a hell for agreeing" category, lol

They got the name wrong. It should be:
"Divorce at first sight"
loving the more casual structure for these less serious videos. the “sound of silence” intro had me cackling
I have to say i fall more and more in love with your personality and the empathy you show for people, or lackthere of. You're amazing to watch. Keep up the great work! And I'm always looking forward to your uploads.
