Hi Knitters! Hannah here with the next video in my Knitting 101: Beginner knitting series on how to knit your first tank top that will provide new (and experienced) knitters with all that they need to create a unique, hand knit tank top. If you've been wanting to challenge yourself and learn how to follow more complicated patterns as well as knit, purl, increase, and decrease, this is a great pattern to start with! It may seem daunting with the lacework and the garment shaping elements, but worry not! I will walk you through every step of the way.
Knit with Ranching Tradition Fiber's Tobacco Root Valley Yarn in DK Weight, which is 100% homegrown wool from Targhee Rambouillet Sheep raised by Kami Noyes' Targhee Wool up the road from us in southwest Montana. This tank is a form-fitting beauty that is incredibly fun to knit. I wear it year-round thanks to the amazing properties of wool.

It's also available on our ravelry page: www.ravelry.co...
This video teaches you how to do the Chinese Waitress Cast Off -- a fun, stretchy cast off technique that will give the edges of your knitting a beautiful finish.
I will drop a new video each week that gives you step by step directions on working the tank, including: gauge swatching (everyone's "favorite"), specialty cast on, knitting in the round, reading a lacework chart, garment shaping, picking up stitches, specialty cast offs, and more!
Thank you all for joining me on this project knitters. If you have any questions, leave a comment. I'm excited to be taking you all through this project. Happy crafting!
