Great tips on donation quilts Mary. I’ve contacted PL here in NC. Love the block you shared and the quilt behind you! TY🧡 Thankful you are feeling better!🧡🧵🙏🏻
i lived in hickory nc for 53 yrs, 4 yrs ago moved to Easley sc. Both have been devastated...we werecwithout power for 6 days...still no internet. God bless all people helping.
I'm so sorry Sheri! The devastation and all the difficulties that accompany the aftermath is unimaginable. I hope things get better very quickly for all of you. Thank you for watching and for sharing.
Thank you for all you do! I have noticed you have several small design boards (different sizes too), did you make them? If so have you done a tutorial on how to make them, and where could I find it?
Well BOO HISS…. I thot this was on THURSDAY & not Wednesday 🤦🏼♀️. Well I had surgery (blepharoplasty - eye lids drooping after cataract surgery) today so missed “live”. I’ll catch it soon 😊. I’ll print calendar & get caught up asap!! Mary, you are amazing - great quilter as well as great humanitarian !!!🥰🥰💚 Proud to be part of this group!! Call me Rocky tonite 😂 (raccoon)
Oh Judy - I'm so sorry. I hope you're feeling better soon - maybe you can join us tomorrow evening for our 7pmCT guild meeting??? 6:30pm Chat...and we love Rocky...so don't be shy if you're feeling up to it!
Thank you Mary! Do you think this is possible to make from 2 1/2 inch squares four patches? I have loads of four patches from 2 1/2 inch squares that I don’t know what to do with and what should be the cutoff 3/4 inch or still 1 inch.?
That would be really small, but I think the blocks could be really beautiful! I haven't tried that...but I think I would probably cut the at 3/4" - no less. Thanks for asking! If you try let me know! (mary@joyfulandmerryquilting.com)
Just checked the turning table ‘full kit’ price. $229.97. I shudder to convert to Canadian $ , not to mention the border fees and shipping. Yes certainly, a pricey accessory. It really looks handy, like the rectangular idea.
@@joyfulandmerryquilting Unfortunately most really well made and useful items are not inexpensive. We did not start crafting and quilting because it was inexpensive to do so. We did it because it fills our hearts and soul. I am looking forward to making a ‘disappearing 4patch’ quilt soon.
I was born and grew up in Ashevi!le...living there for 52 years. The pictures don't show the actual devastation. No...right now they need water!!! It may be 2 or 3 months before safe water is available.
@@catheydayton6493 - That’s what I understand as well. I live 21/2 hrs away from Asheville. We have friends that own a B&B there and much of their 100 acres were devastated. Air rescue is still underway from law enforcement and several agencies. So very sad. Much prayer needed🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
TY Mary!🧡🧵
You're welcome Helen!

A friend made them for me. We will be having a tutorial in guild meeting - I don't have a date yet. Thanks for your comment Dora!

I bought mine on sale - I got on their mailing list and waited for the sale - it was quite a discount. But yes - still expensive.

I'm a newbie. Can you show how to make a design board?
I love it - but it was made by a friend of mine. I haven't made any for myself.
I see and hear you.
Thank you and welcome!
Mary, I can't find the free PDF
. I typed it in multiple times and an error message came up saying not found. Would you mind giving me a link? TIA
The link is www.joyfulandmerryquilting.com/daytime - I just checked it and it works.
@@joyfulandmerryquilting thanks! I spelled merry wrong
