To all Americans or foreigners who may have been encouraged to watch British comedy - sheep noises are not inherently funny to us (well they are a bit) but watch Blackadder, for what it's referring to - and why it gives us extreme pleasure when Stephen Fry does the sheep.
No. Why would I be? Just because a word ends with and 'S' does not mean the rule of placing an apostrophe after the "plural S" applies. Some nouns end with 'S's and it is optional as to whether or not they should be treated as plurals for this purpose (e.g. the surname 'Williams') - but you should consistently spell it the way you pronounce it. With words like 'Jupitus,' however, the 'S' represents a voiceless alveolar sibilant - not a voiced one - so it is impossible to treat it this way.
My favourite of his impersonations is when he pretends to be Stephen on a horse, and he does that laugh with every stride basically. I think it was a horse. Anyways, trying to find that vid :P
OpTiCRIMJOB It's on the episode Elephant, which is a compilation episode. Not sure which episode it REALLY came from. Turns out it's not a horse, but a 'space hopper'.
He had a point. The show was full of that fallacy. You can't say "what is the one odd?" and then say "none" because the question itself - implicitly - says that there is an odd one.
Along with Jo Brand/Harry Hills and Johnny Vegas this xxxxxxx Jupitus has STILL never made me laugh once . :( I wouldn't mind but I have loved most Comedy for much of my 64 years but those 4 are xxxx though Harry is a good bloke...
When he said 'bugger you' I immediately thought of General Melchett's 'WELL, BUGGER ME WITH A FISH FORK'.
"I don't sound like that! Baa-aah!"
Love it!
"IT'S NOT THERE."
MIRAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGEEEE
@@moramento22 Stephen has Madeira Pince-nez. "Oh you're a crackah! More madeira? A Smol..sherry?"
'Bugger you!'
A compliment when it comes from the great S.F.
well he's the expert
Stephen fry always sounds the best when he's indignant about something, such as him saying "Bugger you! I don't sound like that!".
"You're absolute rotters and I hate you." 😂
Stephen Fry and Phill Jupitus "Baaahhing" at each other = Utter bliss.
I'd love to think Stephen goes Bahhh every time he laughs
If I were ever on the show I would ask him to do Melchett's "BEH!" because I can't help but laugh every time I hear it xD
And which originated before Melchett.
2003.... don't they look young(er!) Love this series!
Phil going BARHH makes him sound like a high brow sheep.

RIP John Sessions and Sean Lock both sadly missed
SHOUT AND SHOUT AGAIN!! BAAAAAAAH!!!
Stephen Fry is heavily resembling Peter Griffin in this video, with this round pair of glasses.
That's what I think, every time I see the thumbnail. LOL
agreed, only without the "!ronic" racism and sexism
In one episode, Stephen put on a fake moustache and went "BAAAH" like Melchett.
HELL YES!
The will, oh they will
General Sir Anthony Cecil Hogmanay Melchett! BAAAAAAAAHH! :D
of all the things they could have called it they call it "General melc`s bah"
The great regal baritone lamb, baaaaahhhh, baahhhh
Right-click on the video and choose "Stop Download" for the classic "BAAAH" pose.
"It's a ciiircular triiiiangle"
Bah!
@superhamzah85 hahaha thank you for that. i was already laughing at this clip but finding out it's a blackadder reference makes it epic :)
@TranscendentLion I was going to have fish for lunch. Not so keen on the idea now.
Which is played by Stephen Fry.
Now then now then now! Now! Then! Now then! Now then, then now! Now then, what's going on here?
@MintyInTheSky
Or maybe 'I have a plan so cunning you can put a tail on it and call it a weasel.'
Or does that seem too long?
They can't do that, the guests would never stop pressing them.
"more Madeira?!"
Oh, bugger you!
Why of course (:

Isleofskye Yeah he's shit isn't he
Different strokes for different folks and all that.
Jo is terrific on the Xmas luncheon clip. And Phill's impressions of Stephen are dynamite.
@@stevevasta Let's say you are right but Phil is entitled to make me laugh once in his 25 year old career, surely:)
That was crap
is phil jupitus supposed to be funny?
