Hi all, I'm Seth Woodhouse, the Writer/Director of Ghost Goose. Thank you so much for giving it a watch! Making the film was a labor of love and couldn't have been made without my wonderful producer Norris Palmer, Quinton Buxton and Diana Postolache, our brilliant cinematographer John Laverman and the rest of our sensational team. Making this movie was one of the great joys of my life. And thank you so much to Peter at Deformed Lunchbox for featuring our film on the best horror shorts channel on RUclips! If you have any questions about making the short or any of my future projects, I'm happy to start a thread!
@@unusualaussie9606 I waited a little bit for people to see it before answering this. But if you haven't watched it please ignore this: If it wasn't clear part of my idea with the film was that the Goose in it is a big metaphor for the trauma of their family breaking apart. When you try to say the problem isn't there, it gets worse. But at the same time, they can't just destroy the problem (I don't have a lot of time in the short to explain that but in a feature I will), so what the mom learns is that they have to live with it. That every day, it will get better, as long as they stick together.
The little boy was obviously the main antagonist of the whole story. He was just ungrateful and the coward because someone called him a little shit I know he's definitely going to be the villain in the new Batman series
I don’t quite get the story but the lighting was awesome, location, sound all on point and the goose was good also he quacked on que lmao 🤣 overall great job guy
We didn't make this film in-house, but my interpretation was the goose was a metaphor for the skeletons in the closet for the family, and the unspoken rift between them. I think it's actually more of a family drama film than an all-out horror. But, that's my take anyways, but I loved that it made me think. And yes, the lighting and cinematography is fantastic! I pinned the writer/director's comment if you wanted to ask him!
I have a idea! What about u guys make a summer short film contest? Theme could be anything about summer (Heat, ice cream, sun etc.). What u guys think about it? P. S. : No D1SC0RD for the contest pls...
First of all thank you for this wonderful short film. Here is my humble analysis: When the plate moved suddenly to the other side it insinuated that there is a “missing” father or and inactive father more likely separated. Kids fighting is lack of communication and it is so severe that it leads to violence, the “goose” is a symbol of good communication and at the same time brutality. The boy saying he wants to go “home” that means he is not even settled. The ending is that they need to adapt to this new life, this new beginning hence the counting and quote “it’s going to be like this for a while” and moved away quietly. P.S: i love all your work, and i am so sorry for everyone who doesn’t get it, or just comments on the smaller aspects than greater plot.
It's seemed the most stupid concept and yet you guys... No wait... I don't know how to feel about this, there was a goose and it was pretty funny, I guess
I can finally agree with a comment like this like a teaser got 84k views this doesn’t even have 5k. But honestly deformed lunchbox has been on a downfall for a while😢
@@Animator-boy-b8h maybe it's because we focused on making a full feature film (Baleful) and have been sharing other filmmaker's films to fill the gaps. So the other films have a very different style. Go Away Baby is the only film we made ourselves all year. We have a new one coming in September called Fortunes of Doom. I hope you enjoy our upcoming movies. It's hard work to make them.

Why did they just ignore the goose after it nearly killed them?
@@unusualaussie9606 Well what do you think they cooked and ate on Christmas dinner?

Love a film that takes something mundane or not typically associated with horror and perfectly adds it into the genre!
Well. I can honestly say this is the best movie about an evil telekinetic invisible goose I've ever seen.
Great job guys this film was a lot of fun!
That goose sure gave me goosebumps!!! Wow!!!!
Very original! That Goose was scary! Feel like it reacted to strong emotions and fed on them.
Great actors and story! Kids always make a movie scarier! Nice work
I love the detail that glass waters on dinner table were filled respective to their age graham got least water , ella got mid and mom more than them
Lovely movie! I really hope you guys consider making a second part. I love geese!
Can’t be a second part because we ate the goose after we wrapped
LMAO it's perfect, I love it. Unironically.
What should I name my pet goose?
Duck Duck
It should be duck duck goose
Daki
How about….Satan?

Yaah this is new . Gotta be excited to wait for 44 hours which it'll be worth of it yaaay . This is gonna be great to see this coming soon !! :D
lol okay what's this all about. I got Goose Bumps 🪿
And here we have probably the best comment before the movie even came out!
I have watched it several times, I still get "Goose Bumps". FYI-My daughter plays Ella.
Wow that was amazing
Gave me Goosebumps lol
Thanks for giving such amazing ideas to new creators ❤ nice ones.... Scary
Great work, congratulations to everyone and especially to the ghost goose ;-)
The goose must of gotten hack in that house before mom and kids moved in. It was probably seeking its revenged on the wrong people.
I would want to live there if there weren't any geese!
SO EXCITED
This is such a great short ❤!
I could’ve definitely seen this as a feature
The scared walking away together past it has distinctly happened w one of my friends n I n it’s unironically so accurate 😹😹😹
Your friend has a goose in their house?
another good one. Hope they make it.
I love you Deformed lunchbox😆❤

That was silly but I liked it.
That was goose-tastic
I just can’t believe these kids are so angry about moving just house my entire life savings can’t afford this
First world problems.
(I rent a basement. If my kids complained about moving to a mansion I’d put them up for adoption)
@@DeformedLunchbox This is relative. If they complained about being haunted by a menacing ghost goose, then that would be reasonable of them.
I can't wait!💜
title, description, and story. All amazing. Wish I could act for you one day lol

Nice , but can you make it more scarier like deformed lunchbox or something which is more suspenseful to watch
