Lucky enough to have seen EJ Potter (Santa Pod) Tom (TC )Christenson ( Silverstone,) and Bo O'Brochta ( Long Marsden),but still young enough to enjoy your videos Jack, please keep 'em coming! Many thanks.
In 1980, Bo Obrochta and the team came to our shop in NJ. The were promoting Kawasaki. I remember the the paint scheme and wondering if I could ever ride a bike that fast. The posters we put up was Our Bo is a perfect 7 with a large picture of the bike, reflecting on the 7.08 run.
My mother was friends with Mike Grey from Terminal Van Lines. He gave me a signed poster back in the early 80’s signed by Bo and Mike. It was the top fuel Terminal Van Lines Kawasaki that Bo raced. I remember it saying “Our Bo is a perfect 7.08” Think I gave the poster to a nephew back in the 90’s. Wish I still had it. Seen it in person there many times and also at the Garlits museum.
Teson/Bernard, Terminal Van Lines, Sam Wills, Bo' Obracta, Vance & Hines, Elmer Trett, those were the days. Watched Terry Vance run 199.5 @ CT. Dragway in pursuit of the first 200mph pass. Cracked a head I think. Jack you should try to find/post some video of S&S Cycles 'Hubba Hubba' blown fuel Harley. Watched it run 212mph @ E-Town in '95 I think.
My Diavel managed 10.8 @ 130 mph , almost stock . You can split my time in half and double my trap speed ... Best of luck with your Supercharged Ducati !!!
how could you not love these characters sam wills is right there with elmer trett and larry mcbride totally kool and awesome! and fearless and talented! full of wisdom and knowledge! sheet i could go on and on about these guys!

@@davidswan6231 sounded like Jack said 260 but after subsequent reviews you are correct, its 216 mph. I have seen 264 by Spiderman Larry McBride so I "assumed" 260 was factually correct. I have edited the number to reflect 216mph thanks
Only in drag racing would someone let a competitor use one of their engines due to them blowing all their engines up. Can we please do our best to get rid of the crap "reality" shows pushing the whole grudge racing thing? It seems like animosity is the last thing on everyone's mind when we gather to get our adrenaline fix. Personally I prefer fire spinning over drag racing just due to price, but can say it seems every dedicated group of adrenaline addicted individuals all share the common bond of needing to get close to the edge of death to feel alive. The respect we have for one another is unmatched in any other place within society when we help one another chase the high. Those stupid shows like Street Outlaws and the other frothy wet dumps on Discovery's channels make all adrenaline addicted individuals look bad.

We need the Top Fuel bikes to run in the NHRA! They need more exposure!

My question is how did they reverse the head on bo's dragbike? how did they make the intake n exhauste work
the block and head are made from billet aluminum and the camshafts are custom ground
When did the event happen? I would love to attend one of these weekends?
