Unfortunately that's what this channel has become. Guy buys rig, does some work on it, camps a few nights in it, sells it. Rinse and repeat. I've been following for a few years now and this must be the fourth or fifth he's bought and sold. It's no longer about the adventures and is more of flipping camping rigs.
Noooooo, this is supposed to be a long-term deal. You drove miles and miles to pick it up. You rebuild the walls. Don't get rid of it. We want to see you take it other states and go camping.
Some people just switch things up often. He's reminding me of my uncle growing up. Would get such cool snowmobiles, Mustangs, etc. But you'd go to his place a year later, and it'd all be different 😂

Given the recent investments into the camper, it seems the reason for selling it was probably not completely voluntary. Perhaps the new living situation doesn't allow RVs parked out front (HOAs often don't allow them), or there's not enough room for it. I'm hoping somehow he's deciding to do cross-country vanlife. 🤞🏻

When I was a kid I drove cars for an auto auction. And the dealers would often leave about a teaspoon of gas the tank. One day I was driving a 1978 two-tone Z-28 Camaro T-Top, and it ran out of gas as I was about to pull the onto auction block!! So yes, I TOTALLY support leaving a good bit if gas for the buyer of your vehicle!
Thinking Sprinter Van or Pro Master van build in the near future with plenty of you tube video material. Then keep it for one year and then abruptly sell it for a sail boat for no apparent reason. 😂

A vehicle or camper may be old to you, but it's a brand new purchase for someone else and it should look and feel as special as the large purchase they just made, a clean start for them to begin their own adventures. Whatever reasons you made this decision after months of deliberation, I'm sure are good ones. We don't get to decide your lives, only watch them from time to time. I pay for an oil change, fill the fuel tank, and have it detailed lightly. I also include the detailed maintenance log. Did this on an Explorer I traded in and the dealer was so blown away, they raised my already agreed upon trade in price and gave me $1,000 more. The used car sales manager said I was the most honest customer they had ever seen. Happy to have paid it forward.

It's very frustrating to watch other Truck Camper Channels that are good yet struggle to get the subs and you earn over 100K then sell the item that got you here. UGH! Yeah I know this isn't an airport, no need to announce my departure but... I'm out! It's very frustrating to watch other Truck Camper Channels that are good yet struggle to get the subs and you earn over 100K then sell the item that got you here. Videos like this make me think about getting my own channel up and running but YT really is a time suck!! Oh well, I guess it was fun while it lasted.

I feel you! I sold my truck of 18+ years after retiring. Only drove it 200 miles. in two years. May never get another; they're not built as well anymore.
