KETO Sloppy Joes 2 lbs ground meat 1 tablespoon olive oil 1 green bell pepper 1 medium onion 2 tablespoons tomato paste 1 1/3 cups sugar free ketchup 1 teaspoon worsteshire sauce 2 tablespoons swerve brown sugar or sugar free alternative 2 tablespoons minced garlic 2/3 cup water salt and pepper to taste 1 tablespoon creole seasoning (I used Tony's) 1 1/2 tablespoon chili powder 2 teaspoons yellow mustard
I find that if I spray Pam on my measuring cups and spoons prior to starting the recipe everything comes out of them easily and do not need a knife to scrape the stuck parts.
Great recipe. My late husband loved Sloppy Joe's. I would butter the buns and broil them until golden brown, top them with the meat and cheese and put them back under the broiler to melt the cheese. He would eat 4 of them. 🤤🍻
Thanks for sharing! This I can try this weekend! I have never, ever heard of keto buns, I have got to look into that! Happy Holidays! PS- you "Louisiana" slipped out there chopping those onions! (Un-YAWNS?)
This looks amazing Melissa!!! Can you please do the recipe for the enchiladas I saw on one of Joe's episodes?? I can't rightly remember which episode though. I meant to ask at the end of the video but my sometimers kicked in and I forgot lol. Tyfs God bless you
My friend made a great sloppy joe. He cooked the meat down as normal with onions and peppers, but instead of anything tomato he would put in cream of mushroom soup. Sounds weird tasted great
I'm surprised you still measure out your ingredients. I've been cooking for quite sometime and I eyeball almost everything. I generally hit the flavor on the nail head each time. Obviously less dishes and little chance of dishpan hands.

I like the keto burger buns better than keto bread

Hi Melissa we don't have sloppy Joe's in Australia but can you tell me how the keto recipe differs from the normal version?
Its sugar free
@@astheroostercrows6435 so the regular has normal brown sugar? Sorry for being vague
That’s looks good 👍 what makes it a keto ? Sloppy Joe
no sugar
@@astheroostercrows6435 if that's the case, i've been eating keto-friendly sloppy joe's all my life.
