Fascinating to hear Herr Speer speak about Kennedy, Billy Graham and all the topics he discusses. Most people here have likely already read Inside The Third Reich, but if you haven't, it's an excellent read. The details Mr. Speer reveals are amazing. Thanks RobertHJacksonCenter for these uploads.

This bit about Speer claiming that some men just have this 'charisma' seems a bit concealed. If you look at all of those historic men, their 'charisma' came down to two factors: 1.) how much the audience agrees with your message, 2.) how passionately you put it. A third aspect would be theatrics of course, the show, the image, which in Hitler's case includes the obedience of his men, the flags, the amplified speeches. I'm sure all those historical men had their examples of theatrics as well.

Read his autobiography, 'inside the 3rd reich'...fascinating insight. In complete denial of his role or knowledge of holocaust though.

Not a complete denial. He admitted he was guilty because he did nothing. And he really admired Hitler. He said it was difficult to believe he didn't "know" but he was being honest (as he declared years later). But remains the fact that he used slave work and thousands died because of that. And he just had to know at some point. But again... he never ordered nothing directly and so he scaped from death.

At Nurenberg trials Albert Speer was the only defendant to remorse. So he got 20 years while others got death penalty.

Albert Speer was a patriot. Who at the end of the war Hitler gave Speer orders to destroy German infrastructure, he refused to do it. Because Speer knew that the German nation with or without Hitler, in defeat or victory, must go on regardless.

We should have put Speer to work for the USA like we did Werhner Von Braun.

This is a confusing video. Speer, as bad as his role was with the Nazis, was always forthcoming from Nurenburg on. Why all the drama?
