- In this video i finally leave by berth at Hope Island and plan to never come back. I plan on still doing plenty of sailboat DIY but just do it underway from now on and living off grid full time. I sail back to Tweed Heads which is where i call home, grab Kate who has the next 2 months off and then set off for a quite rolly start....

Amazing! That thing at 10:59 on the beach looks just like the vehicle those little sand guys used in Star Wars when they picked up C-3PO! What a weird looking craft!
Also Kate, you’re ok for getting sick, happens to the best of us. I live in a sailboat and I still sometimes get a little seasick just from the wake of other boats.

Our house hits the market tomorrow. We settled on either the Bali Catspace or the HH OC. Hoping for a high offer up front so that we can get on the water ASAP.

Welcome Kate, good to see someone on board to help out and share the experience. Is Kate an Ambo? If so, good on you Kate Ambos are the salt of the earth. I was a firie for many years here in QLD and know enough about what Ambos do to know I’d never measure up. Hopefully your skills won’t be needed on the boat beyond self treatment for seasickness.
So, you’ve been quiet about dunking the wind generator…is that deliberate or are you saving it for a comedy episode? Another great episode, the music you’re including matches the mood very well. I look forward to the voyage to the Brisbane River. I assume you’ll be climbing Kangaroo Point? I’ve run up and down those stairs too many times and had fun practicing vert rescue there too, both a lifetime ago. If I tried it these days I’d be calling Kates mates to come get me.
