  • When making hash, should you drain the water every time you filter or can you reuse water for each batch you wash? This is our opinion and thoughts behind it.

I would think ot would be fine to finish the wash woth the sane amount of water u started with recycling it back into the spray tank the dirty water so called dirty but not really but use fresh from the start then toss when done.

ya but how long should each run be (how long should bio mass be in water . )

Biomass should be supple. If fresh frozen not long. If dry then could be an hour. Just depends. Make sure inside of the bus has saturated. Runtime varies on cultivar, maturity, equipment and method. We run 60 mins continuous, usually. Some flower washes fast. Some never does and yields poorly. I suggest some R&D until you get a feel for how the process works for your particular biomass.

I would like to see some proof, in regards to your statements.
Just because you say, this and this is happening.
    Doesn't make it true.
    Another thing is.
If what you say is true.
Then why would you leave the bio in the ice and water so long.
    Wouldn't that be counter productive?
I believe you are overthinking this easy process.

This is one perspective from one hash maker. Analytical data is hard to come by. Most of what we get is anecdotal. I too would like to see more perspectives and data to support it. However this is out of the mainstream and got me thinking. Always good to look out of the box.

      Thanks for the response.
      I totally understand your point.
And thanks for trying to bring some understanding on this subject.
