This year I planted seeds from the Mexican pumpkin tree, or jicaro.
It is a very curious tree and its fruits have many applications.
It is very resistant to drought and extreme heat, and can withstand at least -4 degrees.

It is also eaten and has medicinal properties.
When it matures and is allowed to dry, it becomes sweet and has a licorice flavor. It can be used as a flavoring for liqueurs.

It also produces very beautiful flowers, throughout the year.
and starts to flower in just 4 years
I have a lot of fresh seeds that are easy to germinate, many of them germinated.
It would be a very interesting tree for the area of Israel.
