I’ve lived with and disliked my grey living and dining room for 8 yrs. I’m so excited to finally paint over it with a creamy warm white. Grey just feels so sad.
It's amazing how different grey and warm white can make a room. Thanks for following along!
I feel the same, grey feels depressing and cold to me.
Never in my life have I been so interested in white paint! Thank you so much for these helpful tips.
You're hilarious! Thanks for watching!
Me too 🥰🥰
I needed this video seven years ago. Thank you so much! This is confirmation of everything I've had to learn about paint colors, sunlight based on room direction, LRV, etc. Again, thanks!
So glad you found it helpful! Thank you!
Thank you for showing your house painted in the colors you are talking about. It makes it a lot easier for me to "feel" the color palette and what it would like. I always try out paint samples before committing, but with so many colors on the market it sure helps to narrow down the choices. You have some great tips here. I feel confident to go try Navajo White and Soft Chamois in my mother's 90's colored home.
Thanks for watching! It can definitely be challenging. I think you'll love Soft Chamois!
Thank you for the detailed information about the pains and LRV. Very helpful as I have a small home that I want to paint.
VICKIE WHITE thank you, Vickie! Let me know if you need anything along the way!
You are wonderful to share all this detail on the different shades. Thank you.
Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
Loved watching this!! thanks for the great ideas!! i love light creams too as they are warm and inviting!
So glad it could help! Thanks for following along!
I also wanted to add, that what you did here really takes skill. There are designers that struggle with this. Bravo.
Thank you! ☺️
Just the detail information I need.Perfect.Thank you 🙋🏼♀️
So glad I could help! Thanks for following along!
Just found your channel through She Holds Dearly, it was in the related area on the side. I was looking for a soothing creamy white and found the whites you use look perfect. Thanks for providing such good information. And yes, I subscribed to both your channel and your blog site.
Hi Stephanie! It’s so nice to “meet” you! Thanks for stopping by to say hi!
This is absolutely brilliant and thorough, thank you!
Thank you! I'm so glad you found it helpful! Hope you'll check out more of my videos.
TFS❣️ just what I’m looking for and you explained it beautifully 😎
Awe thank you!
U have such a knowledge of (how do i say it) mmmmm... aesthetic sense mixed with creativity! 😲
Love it😚
Oh gosh, thank you! You're too sweet!
I feel exactly the same way about greys. Thank you!
I'm almost scared to say it because I know many love the, but I prefer warmth. Glad you share my sentiment.
Julie I just saw your reply about the Greek Villa, I am 100% Greek ;-). Thank you for the quick and thoughtful response, I am going to look it up. I had been looking at white duck, btw the color in your kitchen I love love love! Thanks Again.
No problem at all! White Duck looks similar and also gorgeous! Thanks for watching!
I bought an old Victorian home 4 years ago. The colors on the walls are so dark. I can hardly wait to paint a white shade throughout my home! Thank you for the inspiration and information!🥰 Sent over from Farm House on Boone! Love your podcast!
Thank you, Connie! Nice to "meet" you!
Connie, a lot of people don't realize that dark colors in a home, can affect their mood, some even go into a depression without knowing why, especially over the dreary winter months. I moved into a home that had dark brown in the bedroom on all four walls, The bathroom had the same dark color. The LR/DR had a dark mustard color. I lived far too long with dark colors on my walls, floors, etc. before I was able to paint, I have yet to change the dark wood floor stain. Needless to say, I spent a lot of time outdoors, and coming in from a bright sunny day, was like walking into night before my eyes adjusted. As soon as I painted my home in light bright, I noticed an immediate change in my mood, it was like a breath of fresh air. I hope you are able to paint soon, buy the five gallon pail to save on buying the small cans, especially if you are going to paint the same color on a large area. I found two five gallon pails of white in clearance area at hardware store. I figured I could use it as a primer on the dark walls, before I choose a finish color. Good Luck.
Thank you Julie. I just painted one of our bedrooms BM Navaho White. I may paint ceiling in same color.
You're welcome! Thanks for following along!
Love this video!! Very, very helpful!
Thank you, Dorota!
Okay Julie, I went to the paint store today and I am painting my bedroom soft chamois!
Your home is lovely!
How exciting! I can't wait to hear what YOU think!
hi Julie! I am loving it! The man at the paint store almost convinced me to buy “white dove”, but I kept hearing your voice in my ear saying how lovely it was. It is so soft. Our house is in the woods and feels dark. This really warms it up. Thanks for your paint tips. I don’t think I would have found this color on my own. The paint chip makes it seem darker than it really is. ☺️
@@SusanD78 Oh I'm so glad you love it, too! Thanks for taking the time to return to share!
It is so hard to pick paint. It is trial and error. $$$. This is so generous of you to share your knowledge. Thank you so.
Thank you, Tess! Let me know if there is anything you would like to see in the future! I'm always looking for ideas!
Love this video!!!
Great subject: WHITE!
Thank you! Have a lovely weekend!
“It’s not just paint, it’s FARROW & BALL! Look at the depth of COLOUR!” 😂🤣😂🤣😂 Farrow & Ball Pointing is absolutely gorgeous. Just gorgeous. Generally speaking, my go to selections are from Benjamin Moore - I just really love their collection of whites and off whites. In one of the homes I designed last year, I tried something different, I did painted everything in eggshell - walls, trim, ceilings and it was so beautiful. The house was painted very dark before, but it also didn’t receive a lot of light, and after it was painted it was like am entirely different house. My next adventure is to maybe develop my own custom white. I read a blog from about her interior designer than said we should all have a custom white.
🤣 LOVED that skit! They are among the best, you're right! It's amazing what a difference paint can make!
I'm from Australia, the paint brands we use are different.
I plan to paint my home white, this is a great example of how to choose the right undertones for each room,
depending on the direction the windows face, how much sunlight comes in and what feeling you are trying to create for the room.
Here is my summary...(please correct me so I get it right).
For rooms with a lot of sunlight, a warm, yellow undertone can be used.
For a room with less sunlight, the yellow undertone is more obvious.
For a room with less sunlight, a higher light reflection is suitable, to brighten the room.
Warm undertones are welcoming, cooler undertones can feel sad.
Great video, I also love Navajo White.
Thanks!
I feel the same way. I just spent $3000 2 weeks ago to paint my house kilim beige. It looks nice with the amount of natural light in my house. Now I feel like I should have done the white as my children suggested. This is a little too yellowish.
thank you for the video! I am researching whites for the exterior of my home ;-) any suggestions welcome, love your kitchen color.
I LOVE Greek Villa for exterior
Thanks much. Very informative.
Thanks for watching, Barbara!
So informative, thank you.
Glad it helped. Thanks for following along!
I appreciate this! I am looking for the right creamy white, something to echo the creamy limestone found abundantly in the hill country of Texas. These color analyses really help, thank you. I have a west/east facing home with north light exposure in the common rooms-living and kitchen. Then east exposure in bedroom and master bath. Quite a difference in light values! Still, I am gravitating toward Creamy or Soft Chamois. Thanks again!
👏
@@JulieBlanner Hi again Julie! What is your opinion of Crisp Linen by BM in the Aura series? Is it so great to justify spending the extra money if one is on a budget? How would you compare to the other creamy whites like Soft Chamois or Creamy? I notice it didn’t make your list, although perhaps it is new.
Thanks for the tips!
Thanks for following along, Jackie! Have a lovely weekend.
I love your whites! Thank you! What are the covers on your windows. I need them!
I love your house 🏠 its beautiful. I like to do the same colors and your interior i like to copy. Thanks for all your information, my vibe are the same like yours 😊
Awe thank you, Angelika!🥰Thanks for following along!
So glad I came upon your RUclips channel Julie. My name is Kelly and my husband and I are about to paint our exterior home bricks and it’s a large 52 year old home that is painted khaki color now (not sure of the actual color) and we want to update it to a light color. I noticed in this video some bricks on an exterior home. Would you mind sharing an idea or ideas for a light color exterior on a large amount of bricks? I would be so grateful! My husband just finished the eves in Sherwin Williams-Iron Ore and it turned out beautiful, but the bricks need to be lighter. Thank you so much for any color ideas you may have. Your home is lovely and beautiful. Btw, I found you through your friend watching how to make homemade potpourri. I’m looking forward to watching your other videos.
Thank you! We used Romabio lime wash on our brick and we absolutely love it!
This is such a great video idea! As a fellow lover of cream neutrals I’m really excited to hear your take on this!!💜
Thank you, Samantha! I'm always up for suggestions if there's ever anything you want to learn more about.
What white is best for low light hallway, bedrooms, and bathroom?
Great video! How about white exterior paint suggestions? I live in northern Maine where it is winter for about half the year.
I think you’d love Greek Villa! Feels warm in a can but looks gorgeous as an exterior paint color!
Fantastic information. You have a warm beautiful home. Do you know what color your kitchen cabinets are? I just love them.
Hi! I color matched for the cabinets, and you can find the exact information on julieblanner.com. Here's the link - julieblanner.com/cream-kitchen-cabinets/
so beautiful !
Thank you, Patricia!
This is a great little video. Thanks for doing it. My living room is north, and my kitchen/dining space get bombed by the sun on the south side. Would you suggest going with the Zurich in the kitchen space, and the creamier one in the living room?
I love that soft chamois. Very sweet. ❤ thanks for showing us.
Light makes all the difference.
Right!?!
Thank you for all the color explanations. I live in a small home and wanted it to feel cozy candlelight like. Out of all the colors you describe which has the most pinkish undertone? The kitchen cabinets look pinkish-tan to me.
Thank you for the feedback
I love varying shades of white. But I do find it complicated to figure out the way to do it. My house is different from previous houses. The front faces northwest and the back, southeast. So the sun always hits at angles. Also, the front has and part of the sides, has a wrap around porch. So direct sunlight in those windows is brief. Only when the sun is setting.
Let me know if I can help!
I was also looking into Alabaster from Sherwin Williams.
Very pretty kitchen, stellar :)
Thank you! 😊
Really enjoyed this informative video. Has helped me with some paint ideas for my front entryway. My entryway and up the stairway has very little light and really no natural light. Thinking you might suggest the soft chamois. I have torn up the rug on the stairs and discovered beautiful oak medium brown coloured stairs. I’m wondering if you could suggest what trim colour I should use and what colour I should paint the railing. Thank you!
We have paired just plain white (untainted) trim paint, but have you tried painting the trim the same color as the walls? Check out this post you might enjoy: julieblanner.com/painting-walls-and-trim-the-same-color/
I'd love the recipe for "La Cange" paint color you created by matching your stove. thank you
Hi! You can find that here - julieblanner.com/cream-kitchen-cabinets/
So thankful I came across this video!! My theme is Farmhouse with Dark Walnut wood accents throughout my home and white cabinets/subway tile. For all wall colors Soft Chamois with SW untinted white for trim and ceiling go for the whole house? I won’t have a lot of natural light coming in either. 😕
I think you would absolutely love it!
I love the white paint choices you have provided. Do you have any experience painting an old brick fireplace white? If so could you please do a video on how to. Thank you
Hi Colette! We painted our fireplace at our last house using SW masonry paint.
I agree...all whites are not the same. I've learned this through trial and error. 😉
I'm made my share of errors 😂.
Great insight into white colors! Not plain at all!
Thank you, Gabriela! I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
Hi loved your video, can you make a video about decor which looks good with white paint plus which shades of browns in furniture goes well with white paint
Also you just got a subscriber ❤️
Absolutely! Adding to my to do list. So nice to meet you!
Thank you for this!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Zurich White, enjoy! julieblanner.com/sherwin-williams-zurich-white/
I m going thru a kitchen remodel and I’m going with bright white cabinets and gray back splash but the island is sage green. I want shite walls but not sure what to pick
Where did you get the carpet on your basement steps? Beautiful! I love the soft whites in your home. I’m repainting my living room and dining room. I will be using these white colors. I love the simplicity of your home, but so elegant too.
Thank you, Susan! I put 3 runners together - it's pretty simple! Runner: rstyle.me/+SwXb-z_e5KIH8s-SYMsdeQ More Details: julieblanner.com/basement-stairs-budget/
I'm in love with all of these colors! Out of all of these whites which would you say is the best and safest to use for an entire home interior? I love the warmth of a cream but I don't want to walk into a yellow home but at first glance of this video I would pick the color in your breakfast nook for my whole house but i don't know if that would be too yellow? Our ceilings and trim will be white and there's different light in every room for us. what would you say is the safest for a whole house?
Soft Chamois. Navajo White doesn’t work well with white
Oh...my...god. This satisfied my level of obsession with white paint colors. The number of white paint chips I have is unbelievable. lol
So glad it could help! It can get overwhelming.
You're the bestest! My SO and I have been looking for the perfect white, and we found it in your blog! I've read your internet blog on Soft Chamois (our chosen shade) and you mention it pairs well with a classic white. What is your preferred shade of classic white to accompany Soft Chamois?
Thank you, Cathryn! I truly appreciate your kindness! I know it's not spoken about, but I love untinted white for trim! It's the perfect contrast.
So so helpful! Awesome video. Would you paint the ceiling and walls in a home the same color everywhere that has beautiful oak trim/railing/fireplace? I’m leaning towards white flour by SW for the walls and have thought about having the ceiling painted the same color with ceiling paint.
Chara, I am so glad you liked it! You can certainly use the same color on the ceiling and walls, that is exactly what I did in our sunroom.
Love your home and video! What is the purple flower that you planted outside, around 1:20 of the video?
Pansies!
Thanks for this informative video! White paint can be so intimidating. I have a south facing bedroom with one medium size window as a natural light source. What white paint color would you recommend for the walls and trim that would provide a warm, cozy feel? Thanks so much for your help!
You won't be disappointed with Soft Chamois.
Thanks. This helps me in my crusade for the right white. Question: did you paint your kitchen bead board?
google "Julie Blanner beadboard" to learn more about it, enjoy!
Love !
Thank you!
I just stumbled upon your Lovely channel, & just subscribed!! Timely, because I will be painting my living room soon. I live in a 1970’s ranch & the living room is the space that gets the most sun. I would appreciate your council. I’m considering something new, painting the walls a white color, but currently not sure which one. 🤔
Hi Rosa, you are so sweet! I have lots of great information in the paint colors section of julieblanner.com that will be really helpful for you. Here's the link - julieblanner.com/category/paint-colors/
@@JulieBlanner, Thank You So Much! Headed there now. 🙂
I wonder what to paint a new great room. It will face west looking over-a large lake. There will be a screened in porch covering the middle half of that west wall. There will be a kitchen on the north end with two west facing and two north facing windows. There will be an art space on the south end with south and west facing windows. I would like to paint the room a warm neutral white. How could I balance both ends of the great room? Very nice presentation.
Best of luck and thanks for reading my question.
you will want to pay careful attention to the paint LRV and utilized swatches painted onto pasteboard. This will allow you to move the paint color around the room throughout the day and evaluate the light.
I was wondering what you think about the BM Navajo White compared to BM Linen white. I think that Navajo white has a little gray in it where is Benjamin Moore than in white has yellow/orange undertones. I was thinking of choosing this for my living room which gets a ton amount of southern light.
You didn't mention much about West facing rooms. Our bedroom faces west. Which white would go best with that lighting?Navajo?
I'm gearing up for a home reno and am going crazy trying to choose paint colors. I was starting with BM Revere Pewter but I now see how cool it can look so I don't know where to go from here. Guess I'll start again at BM and look into some of your suggestions! My husband's bath needs a dark color so what would you do? Thanks so much for all of your lovely, instructive videos. Take care, MARY MCASKILE
Hi Mary! What did you choose? I love a beautiful blue for a deep hue. Have you considered Benjamin Moore Hale Navy for the bath?
Love your video! Thanks for your wonderful explanation very helpful. I think I'm going for Soft Chamois, but I'm still confused as to what color I should use for the trim and ceiling any suggestions? Also, what finish is best for this color and for ceiling and trim? One more question sorry, but is so overwhelming to choose a paint color. How about interior doors other then white what would be a good color combination between the wall color and doors? Thank you again.
You can get all the details for Trim Paint (which is what I use for doors, too) here: julieblanner.com/trim-paint-painting-trim-white/ and even more detail about Soft Chamois here julieblanner.com/benjamin-moore-soft-chamois/
I just love this video, it has been so helpful. Just curious in your sunroom did you use eggshell or satin on the walls? thanks
Thank you, Crystal! Benjamin Moore's "eggshell" is satin, which is what I used. I thought I'd clarify in case you went with another brand. Thanks for watching!
@@JulieBlanner I thought Benjamin Moore's "Pearl" is the same as a Satin finish. Eggshell is matte and we get Pearl for all our interior paints as it has a subtle slight glossy sheen to it (and makes it easier to wipe the walls).
Julie, Thank you for this informative video. I'm reading through your posts on cream paint colors, and it was also helpful to hear you explain your use of them in video form. As for future videos, I remember that you said Phoebe Howard is your favorite interior designer, and I'd love to know more about how she has influenced you (I'm considering buying "Room by Room" based on your Amazon shop recommendation). Also, how you've been helped and what you like about the other books you recommend. A few other things I'd love to know more detail about in your beautiful home: how you shop for antiques; information about your curtains and gold/brass rods (I'm especially curious about your master bedroom curtains), and more tips on entertaining to make it less stressful and a continual part of life. Thank you for being such an inspiration and for sharing your gift of creating a beautiful home!!
I'm sorry I missed your comment! Pardon the delay. I love how her style transcends through time. I can look to her earlier and recent designs and appreciate them the same. Her design is always timeless and warm. I love how she layers and look to her work for hanging art, arranging pillows, etc.

This was very helpful because I want a creamy white color, but didn't consider the lighting and other whites could make it more yellow or creamy. I'm going for a creamy, white and gray bedroom just like yours at 0:55, what type of white do you have in your wall there?
This is so 😍😍
Thank you! ☺️
Thankyou for video
Most welcome
Thank you! What are your thoughts on Alabaster for a living room that doesn't have much natural light?
SW Greek Villa is a higher light reflective choice. You may want to look into testing that color option :)
Love your video thank you for sharing. My living room is north facing and the floors are dark wood I still can't figure out which color I should pick. Kitching is very dark no window is a open livingroom kitching. I don't know if I should keep the same color for both rooms since it is open or pick two different colors ? And the trim and ceiling same color as well or the trim white you suggested 🤔😭
Thank you! Check out my post on trim the same color as wall: julieblanner.com/painting-walls-and-trim-the-same-color/
Goodness, it is so hard to pick a white. I’m currently building and I am so frustrated trying to decide on paint as I typically don’t redo things. I always try really hard to make a good choice that I can live with for a while.
That's very smart. It definitely pays to put the work and research in ahead of time so you don't create more work for yourself down the line :)
Hi Julie, thank you for sharing your knowledge and helpful tips. I have shiny cream porcelain tiles on my main floor. Do you think I can paint my walls cream as well? If so, would I try and match the tile or go a shade lighter or darker. I also have have a north facing window and my tiles have a yellow undertone. Thanks so much for your time, love your videos and Instagram!
Thank you SO much, Rita! That brings me so much joy! If you send a photo I could give you a better idea, but you can definitely do a shade lighter or darker.
Hi Julie,
So glad I stumbled upon your channel. I love white but have always been confused on how to select the optimum white for a given room. This video is sooo helpful.
I have a quandry. My small kitchen has cherry cabinets. The walls were professionally tissue paper 'stained' to give a Tuscan feel. It's well done and looks lovely. But, after a decade it's time to go! It suddenly seems dated. I would like to go lighter but need to coordinate with my cherry (bordering on the red/orange scale) cabinets and my brown with black/ white accents counter tops (decidedly dark). My appliances are black. My kitchen has windows on two sides but faces North and a little West. Therefore, the room is bright when the sun is overhead, but muted light the rest of the day.
Thoughts? Can I achieve a lighter look without changing my countertops?
Thank you so very much
Thank you! You certainly can. Do you mind sharing a photo in my FB group Celebrating Simple? I'm a visual person. I could help make recommendations.
Julie - TY for this informative video on creamy whites. Tad confused in video it seems you painted your breakfast nook in BW Navajo white, but on the website believe it reads SW Zurich white. Please clarify for me. Thank you!
It's Benjamin Moore Navajo White!
Hi Julie, my kitchen faces East and I don’t have much lighting. I want to paint the kitchen cabinet and walls. You suggested Benjamin Moore Soft Chamois. So the trim and ceiling should be classic white trim? Is this color by Benjamin Moore? Please advise, thank you in advance.
I’ve got F&B Clunch in the entry and white tie on my living room ceiling!
This is so helpful. I remember years ago reading an interview with a white specialist who travelled the world picking whites for Museums, sometimes several for the same room to get it to look the same on each wall!
Great minds! That's really interesting! I'm going to do a little googling now!
Julie Blanner I have a fun F&B story for you. I was in the showroom down the street from me here in Paris one afternoon when another woman walked in. It was Catherine Deneuve. The whole shop fell silent, until a salesgirl worked up the nerve to ask if she could help her. Catherine Deneuve took off her signature sunglasses and said yes, she was looking for outdoor paint for the gate to her country house! 😎
@@VelvetandToads How amazing is that! You must be "neighbors"!
Julie Blanner She’s a little further away than F&B, but I’ve run into her three times. Once years ago near a bus stop where I was waiting, she was loading sleeping bags into the back of her Porsche for her daughter(presumably) and another girl who were standing there. Very down to Earth, despite her glamorous career. Kind of funny.
@@VelvetandToads Wow! That's pretty cool!
Hi, please help me. I have a modern house facing north. The entry is also north. Which is the most luxorious white ? For trims I used middle antracit grey. I'm searching for the most luxorious white color now. Thanks. My goal is to feel some kind of a luxory yacht vibe in the end. Door handle is chrome.
Hi Julie, any suggestions for a white kitchen paint color, my cabinets are linen with caramel glaze. I have a window which faces north. Its a small kitchen. I have yellow walls now which reflects on the cabinets which I don't want anymore. My counters are a mixture of browns. Thank you for your advice, I enjoy your videos!
Have you considered using linen in eggshell sheen? It will make your kitchen appear larger and I love cabinetry that matches the walls. It's so calming. Thanks for watching!
What would you recommend for a north facing, very little natural light? I am thinking perhaps Edgecomb Gray and with White Dove trim and ceiling.
you can learn more about it here: julieblanner.com/7-ways-to-add-light-to-a-room/ ,enjoy!
Hi Julie, I have an East facing kitchen with a smallish window, even on a bright day I have the light on! I am looking for a lovely warm white to make it appear more airy. What would you suggest? Thank you.
I think you'd love Benjamin Moore Soft Chamois. It's so lovely!
Lovvvv white tie, Can i come over c ur place!😄🙊

Hi Julie, Thank you so much for this video. It is so informative! I have a question, please: I have just purchased a condo with cathedral ceilings and a fairly small dark living room. I am planning to paint it white to attempt to make the room look bigger. What would you suggest in terms of white for the walls and for the ceilings and trims? I like the warm whites you used in your house but since my living room doesn't get a lot of sun throughout the day, I am not sure what to choose :( Many thanks for your input!
Hi, congratulations on your new condo! I might suggest you check out the paint color section on julieblanner.com, where you can find lots of information about warm and cool whites, and thoughts about how they work in different spaces. Here's the link - julieblanner.com/category/paint-colors/
This is so beautiful. What color paint you use. I love the natural look but I'm tried with grey.
I use several warm whites - you can find them all here julieblanner.com/category/paint-colors/
Wow this is so complicated.
I have pure white on my trims and for mu walls I am btwn cloud white or simply white from Benajmin Moore for my dining room but I am still debating.
Cristina, it can feel so overwhelming a times, but you've got this! Since you are down to 2 wonderful choices, perhaps consider painting a small area of the wall with each color and considering from there....
Thank you! I have one more quick question. I am using the Benjamin Moore simply white for my trim with the Benjamin Moore soft chamois for the wall color. Do you think that’s enough of a contrast? Do you think those two will go well together? Thanks again!
I think that they should pair nicely together, but always test in your particular home and lighting first.
Loved your video! I am wanting to paint my living room/kitchen/dining area (open floor plan). My current trim is B. Moore Ivory Tusk (an off white-LRV: 86.75). I am wanting a slightly darker off white for the walls. I am considering B. Moore-French White, Navajo white or bone white. After watching your video, I may also try soft chamois. I plan to buy samples but haven't done that yet. I am afraid my trim will look off white and my walls will look white. Help! What color or colors do you suggest I try?
I love Benjamin Moore Navajo White and Sherman Williams Zurich White. They are used a lot through out our house. Check out my post on trim paint, julieblanner.com/trim-paint-painting-trim-white/ It gives a lot of tips on picking trim colors. Let me know if I can be of any more help!
Hello from las Vegas, thank you for sharing your knowledge... could you repeat 8:01?? Soft chama-what??? I'm struggling with choosing what colors to add to my living room which is facing the East; it also has a big sliding door in the back (west) and no windows for the north and south walls... in the morning throughout the day it looks bright and lovely in there. But when the sun travels towards the west, it could look pretty yellow in there... I'm not a big fan of shades of yellow. I love pinks and browns. Any advice helps. Thank you.
Hi Cindy. Thanks for asking, soft chamois is the color you were wondering about.
Hello Julie , I've been having a hard time deciding whether to go with a cool or warm white walls for my bedroom. My bedroom theme is white walls with jewel-tone furnishings. I live in a tropical country so I receive a fair amount of natural light coming in through my two big windows. I also have a medium warm wooden tiles as flooring. Do you think I should go with a neutral balanced white instead?
I think a neutral balanced white would pair very well with the warm wood and jewel tones :)
Decorator’s white cabinets in a white dove matte painted open kitchen/living room…which color do I do on all of my trim? Sheen?

I’m thinking about painting my living room
Walls with Benjamin Moore White Dove. Which trim color do you think would work with it?
I am looking for a warm white without the yellow in a north facing room that only has 2 windows. What do you think of Behr blank Canvas? The paint on the walls look too yellow and the room is too dark for my tastes.
Hi I am from Germany.I have dark green leather sofas and dark wooden table.

I had strong colours before. But know I want warm colours that calms down. And lighten my dark furniture
