  • Fletched myself a purdy set of Easton FMJ Limited Edition Camo Hunter Arrows for this episode of Tex Grebner Outdoors and I'm gonna take you folks back in time with me as I put them together.
If you've been in archery for as long as I have, there's a high likelihood you grew up loving camo print on your arrow shafts. But this didn't sell me early on to Easton Arrows because they were about as durable as a Coke can. Thankfully, archery technology has come a long way since then.
These Easton FMJ's are made with aluminum wrapped carbon shafts that I then modify to suit my 75 lb Martin Hunter Recurve Bow. 300 grain point, 100 grain brass insert, reflective arrow wrap for flair, 4 inch right wing helical, and shield cut feathers that just look cooler to me topped off with your standard or lighted nock. All told, these arrows weigh in at 850 grains each. Perfect for my heavy bow and traditional archery obsession.

Hey Tex thanks for the video. I started hunting with a bow 40 years ago and the first arrow I had were the Camo Hunters and I use them today. I had a chance to purchase 4 dozen of them (new) from a archery coach in New york so I have an endless supply of 2117's to last me the rest of my days. Thanks again for all your videos!

I came into archery in the ugly era of carbons. The FMJ in camo hunter got me all excited. Grabbed a doz. myself and love the look. Also white wrapped the back with orange fletch, when I send it in the weeds

I have had a mullet in my life, and when a man has a mullet, he is incredibly proud of his mullet, then he never has a mullet again. My hair is as long in the front as in the back,

Nice looking arrows, I've been shooting the XX75 (2213&2216) CamoHunters for years. I prefer shooting them because they seem to last longer than the carbons which if start to break are just broke. Even keep them around for stump flinging because even with a 'variation' in straightness they fly pretty well and can be cut down successfully and reused. Aluminums are getting harder to find, tho.

Easton arrows are tough to beat! I have both Easton FMJ 250's and Gamegetter 2317's. Both shoot excellent out of my 75# and my 82# Recurve bows. The FMJ 250's shoot great of my my 100# Martin Longbow too. Another good arrow company is Victory. If you are looking to shoot a lighter arrow for target shooting, 609 grain, try them out. But knowing you Tex you probably wont go below 700 grains. haha I like both light and heavy arrows out of my heavy weight bows. I use shield cut arrows also. I haven't noticed a difference between shield or parabolic feathers.

Dude please can you start making more tactical videos like the old days!? Buy an AR15 do a review, shoot more guns like your ak74, and more please. I'm tired of this macho-man hilly billy accent, walking talking caveman. Please change up your videos please.
