great review by the owner. great clarity of mind while making the choice of vehicle. I also have the same model and am very satisfied with it. the only contradicting thing which I found in the interview was that Venue DCT also has some amount of lag initially , although minimal.

I have gone over the exact same sequence of cars researching the right car and ending up with the top end venue (sx o dct), as Mr Tasavvur here. If your budget is fluid, save yourself a week's worth of research and test drives. Also, the nexon should be considered, especially if build quality and engine power are the priorities.

It can never be 26-28,it gives 15 -16 on highways,vary from 7 to 9.5 in local city.

We have seen 18 kmpl on Highway even on Sonet. Though in city it goes 7-9.5 as you said.
I have 1.2 manual. Best I got on highway was 20 kmpl in 550 km trip. It was easily achieved with light acceleration and cruising between 85-95 kmph.

Good analysis. I also choose Venue S optional dct over Sonet htx dct for similar reasons even after its 2024 facelift. Highway mileage claim seems unrealistic though.

25 kmpl it is possible without ac single occupant constant speed 75 kmph and this is absolute maximum average. Forget about 30 kmpl. And in city 13-14 is absolute maximum.

Mileage - 15 to 18kmpl. (20+ possible in highway cruising set at 60 to 70km).

So how did it take him to finally decide on the car?
There's one problem with the Venue DCT that hasn't been covered. When you are driving, let's say at 80, and you take over from the DCT due to traffic and slow down to say 50, as soon as you engage cruise control, the transmission shifts to 3rd or even 2nd, revving up the engine and accelerating suddenly. This is quite unsafe and noisy too. The DCT needs to be retuned to avoid this sudden acceleration. It's also bad for the engine. Happens even in the ECO mode!
Otherwise, a wonderful vehicle!
Take over from cruise control...
Thanks for sharing this problem here, it will help our viewers but just need to confirm if you have contacted Hyundai support for this. and what they have suggested on this.
It's basically because car is tuned to think cruise control will be used on highways only, and if you drop from 80 to 50 you would want to say quickly accelerate again as being at 50 on highway in unsafe. The car basically expects to quickly accelerate that time.
Cruise control should not be used in city.
This is a very good review. If I am spending this much money. No offence, I might even consider Fronx boosterjet turbo as it would have better resale value than Hyundai too. Toyota Taisor is just rebadging and Toyota might even discontinue the car like urbancruiser the rebadge of brezza

Is it okay to buy a new Venue which has been standing in the open in stockyard due to which it has become dirty after rain and dust accumulation?

No worries if you get a good discount of about 1.5-2 Lakh
Should I go for Sx 1.2 or Sx O 1.0 . If looking for good milage.
Go with 1L engine... u tend to get good mileage if u drive it within 2000 to 2200 rpm and u will reach about 70 to 85km/hr speed... but 1.2 struggles to pull ur vehicle at that point of time and u ultimately end up getting less mileage. but for 1L u have to pay more... look into that and also according to ur budget and your expectations.
I think he is not the owner of car, he is a member of Hyundai or member of somewhere showroom. Because a common person doesn't have so proper knowledge about car. He is promoting Hyundai car.

If I'm buying than it is Brezza for sure but depends on your needs, powerfull engine and faster gearshift comes with Venue.

Financially to mai venue hi better kahunga, par i20 sportz ka performance bhot alag hai, ek baar dono gaadiya chala kar jarur dekho
If you need hatch back and low seat car then i20 Aasta optional but suv give more comfort than i20. I20 rear seats more and maximum space compare to rest of the compact suvs. Performance is far better in i20 than venue turbo because of i20 weight is less compare to venue.overall personal choice low seat car versus tall boy compact suv.
What is the mileage of Venue S or S(o) manual transmission in actual?
I own the same facelift venue sx(o) dct petrol but it gives 10-11 in city highway it gives max 15 with eco mode n very light on peddle , there is no way it can give above 20( no doubt it's a very gud car but mileage is bit on lower side )

It can never ever give 26-30kmpl😂 My friend's i20 Turbo gives around 15kmpl on highway. My i20 NON-turbo petrol gives around 18-19 max on highway
Venue is not a compact SUV, its a sub compact SUV. Whereas, Creta , Seltos and Astor are compact SUV's.

I too went in Hyd Outer Ring Road at 80 KM speed , single person it given me 24KMPl. But I have observed when the heat is higher mileage reducing may be some 15 min break in journey helps if possible to get milage. If I go at 100KMPH milage came at only 17 to 17.7 with AC
