One thing I wish I mentioned in this video is that all of the dancers featured are quite talented, and I do hope that this show was helpful for their careers, no matter how it portrayed them. They killed it every day!!!!

It actually shows that they’re the type of people who support narcissistic people who have been known to be abusers, and they would allow their own children to be around someone like her, in order to receive fame and opportunities…..even if their kids were traumatized by her.
they expect her to be nice to them KNOWING how bad of a person she is, and then complain that shes rude. Like this is why i hated season 8 of dance moms, they ALL knew what abby was like and still signed up for the show, then when they got on they were miserable and complained. like you put yourself in that position?

The problem with teality tv is the actual tv producers manipulating and want good tv i dont like reality tv. Its so scripted and the edits are for for the viewer
I had the displeasure of actually seeing Abby live in the flesh last year at Tremaine Nationals. She is exactly the same in person as she is on TV. My favorite part though, was the refusal of Tremaine to give her any preferential treatment. They outright told her she was not a guest and she would be treated just like everyone else.
I don't have much more to add. Except, a kid did catch a pic of her "tanning" in her wheelchair in the parking lot without her wig. She made several kids cry just because they told her how much they liked Dance Moms. She yelled at them to stop watching it because she didn't make any money from it. They should watch her on RUclips. I can confirm she is just as terrible in person as she is on TV. My sister refused to believe she would be mean to young "fans. "... but she was.

The premise is the winner gets to "live and train with Abby" and she shows favouritism to the boys and whoever acts straightest 😭 I'm worried that on her end it's actually The Bachelorette. In 2016, I traveled to LA to train under Debbie Allen, and when I tell you, she does not play about her dance history!! she’s very inspiring, but pretty strict. Savoy was also training there the same Summer I was. We weren’t in any of the same classes so I don’t know her just saw her in passing, and on excursions . but very pretty, and was talented
She shouldn’t be allowed to work with children or have this kind of platform. It bothers me that so many kids and parents want to work with her just for 15 minutes of fame

Abby tried to use the same manipulation tactics she used with 9 year olds with full grown adults.. then it backfires and she has a fit and refuses to show up for the last episode of her show. Thats how i imagine this went
As a person with a disability, it’s honestly a little annoying that Abby shows her cancer scars every three seconds. I came into the world with my disability; every day tasks were a struggle from the beginning. It’s just what is. I’ve also had family members that fought cancer. Once you’re done with treatment and/or are in remission, you don’t generally work it into every conversation you have from that point. It’s not something to continually be relived and recounted the way Abby does it. Every time, it seems as though Abby’s pulling at the heartstrings to get a sympathetic response and be pitied.
The thing that was good about dance moms was watching these young kids be so talented, and cope with the pressure of their mums and abbey. It was so much less about the appeal of the drama

Me and my bestie are addicted to this show because we went to middle school with one of the girls . Soooooo funny and awesome. Another reason is because of the Minister Dawn case (go look it up but basically Abby insulted a kid and the Minister Dawn went to shout at her. The show made it seem that Dawn was the villain)

I think the best part of the show (only based on your description because I haven’t heard anything like at all about this show.) is that the dancers seem to actually question Abby’s motives and her strange choices, and are aware of her nasty behavior.
