Had a massive perch from that lake about 10 years ago was easily 3lb but foul hooked it when retrieving my method feeder.

some nice fish, am jealous as my local drain has been flooded for the past 2 weeks!
Oh no! My local river is hard at the best of times - currently running brown and high ... so am sticking to still waters for the time being
@@fishing-fiend in 2 weeks I'm getting an e bike, so can travel further away to better waters.
Nice fish in there. Good little winters session in the cold. Need to get over to bradshaws for a session its been too long!
Nice perch and entertaining as always. I'm not sure how keen I'll be on you live blogging (vlogging?) whilst you are "at it", but I guess it takes all sorts.
I've never caught an ide (or an orfe come to that), are they obviously identifiable at first glance as different from from our native silver fish?

Cheer Clive - same to you -- you can easily tell the difference between an Ide and a Roach -- Ide have lots of tiny scales -- and roach - well they look like roach lol (red eyes, silver/blue hues)
