As much as I love that Bruce is back with Maiden, I wish he'd do another solo album.

I think it's about the last flight of the Lockheed SR71 Blackbird and it's legacy.
all the songs have a double meaning to them As they are all part of the story told in the album. Basicaly Aliens land on earth and kidnap a protohuman with intent to implant their essance into it and fail tossing the now human of board. Unknown to them their experiments left humans open to sin/ demoms known as soul entruders. The humans then plunder devil hill which is a wreckage of the ship that created them and use the tech to build space ships. Only one tribe goes off into space and loves it the issue is the confines of space makes them age much much slower but they still need food so they embed thenselves into the mainframe of their ships ( basicaly turn to cyborgs ) out in space they intercept another ship which is presumably satan who tells them its not his fault humans chose to sin ( which is odd considering the aliens did it) Turns out humans go back in time in order to salvage their humanity after god wipes out all sinners leaving the souls of the dead to wander space and time.Speed of light by iron maiden is about this event. The whole story is a paradox
