    This Impact Vest by Blueplantsurf is very well thought out and comfortable. Having the low cut protects your lower extremities from impact at high speeds. I've personally put this vest threw the gauntlet on the Northshore of Hawaii and it has passed with flying color...Awesome product.

    The belt is very important, my ION vest turns into a Bra every time I fall from the board, even if it’s a tight fit… Well done rob and team 🤙

      I had that same experience with other impact vests, so yes, a fixed waist belt is a key feature. The belt is removable but I find it indispensable.

      @@blueplanetsurf you should add a hook to the belt so you can use it as a harness belt at the same time.

    I'm interested more in the floation aspect of the vest. Will be by soon to ckeck it out.

      Great, it provides the same floatation as a regular lifejacket but it's not coast guard certified.

    Another benefit of an impact vest for foiling beginners: your ribs can take a real beating when you're constantly climbing back onto the board.

    Marketing suggestion: Since anyone who clicks to watch this video is considering buying a vest, tell us more about proper fit than "similar to a t-shirt." (T-shirt sizes make zero-sense, plus "proper" fit is subjective.) Consider creating a follow-up video, with 6 different coworkers, their tape measurements, and which size each prefers. Then get their feedback with a wetsuit.

    Looks good - just needs a zippered pocket somewhere to fit a phone (down wind safety)

      Agree! Looking for one with a pocket to fit car key and phone. Should come with a heavy duty ziplock bag for water protection and be on the back/side so that you can climb on the board without risk of breaking it.

    Is it compatible with the kiteboarding/windsurfing harness?

    • @blueplanetsurf
      @blueplanetsurf  2 года назад

      No, it’s not made to wear a full size harness over it

    Would a size small fit a petite woman? (5'4" 110lbs)

    Is it possible use the same size with both a 4.3 wetsuit and without a wetsuit?

    • @blueplanetsurf
      @blueplanetsurf  2 года назад

      Yes, it stretches but I would go one size up from what you wear in Tshirt size

    Anyone have experience with the Billabong Pro or Anarchy vests? How good is their impact protection and is one better than the other?
