One of the later shows of this tour / lineup... The band (and especially Ritchie, doing his squeaks all over the place) seem to be quite enjoying themselves, all jamming and stuff. Great performance. And while I'm no big fan of JLT's stage performances, I do quite like this album and tour, though I admit it is difficult under the Deep Purple name... But compared to Mk 3 and 4, and today's DP - while not Mk2, it's all good music in it's own right, no reason to say this was just a low point in their career, all personal taste I think.

Slaves and Masters is probably my favourite DP album.In Rock and Perfect Strangers. Love love LOVE Joe's singing.
