  • I love using materials that would otherwise end up in the landfill. Here, I've created a journal cover from Amazon Packaging. Who doesn't have a few of these hanging around?

Nicely done! It must feel lovely with the extra padding. Very clever! I’ve looked at them & thought about using them - now I might give it a go!

Very pretty! Nice choice in covers. I love Graphic 45 products.
You might consider a stronger glue like Art Glitter Glue, Bearly Arts Glue or Beacon’s 3-in-1 Glue since Graphic 45 is usually fairly heavy stock and so is the envelope. Also, you could consider using double side adhesive tape along with your glue down the middle where the fold is.

Thank you for pointing that out to me, Tonya! I think I'm ok on this one and will take better care in future videos. 🤎

Oh, you’re my brayer lady! Maybe you haven’t found a glue to love yet. You can try storing your glue upside down in a coffee mug. I would use a needle-tipped applicator near the edges. Not a BIG one. I get right up to the edge with mine. The glue covers and does not squeeze out because it’s such a fine bead. Oh, some people love glitter glue. Anyhoo, you’re cover is fantastic with the packaging inside. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for that!

Mara, now I've discovered Teflon bone folders! Almost as good as my brayer. 😆

I’m going to get one. My bone folders are too fat.

@@maramakesjournals2319 , are you on the States? I got a set of 4 (esch is different & it includes an amazing stylus) on Amazon. They have great weight & don't snag on the paper. 🖊

Yes, I’m in Wisconsin. I’ll look for them on Amazon. Thanks!
