I just finished an 11 day cruise on the Silver Ray and agree with all of your opinions - restaurants, entertainment, demographics, cruise director, comfort of stateroom, decor, crew and bar. Overall an elevated experience with much to enjoy!
My wife and I just did a B2B on the Ray from Venice to Athens and back. Actually had a Sunset Suite right down the hall from you on deck 6! Agree with much of what you said regarding the menu’s however, we found the food overall to be quite good everywhere we ate. The ship is gorgeous and personally, we loved the design. What stood out above all else was the crew! In a word, uncompromising! Our butler and room steward were spectacular! The entertainers, all outstanding! The shore excursion, reception teams, and service staff at Art’s Cafe, all remarkable!! Our only complaint, too hot in July!!😂
La Terrazza on the Dawn a few months ago, menu had been changed too. A lot less to choose from. Menu did change every 3 days, and we enjoyed one of the menu’s, but not the other. Everything changes, but have always had a fantastic time on the SS ships!! We are traveling on the Ray in 10 weeks for 35 days. Looking forward to our sailing.
I really enjoy your evaluations of all your cruises. My wife and I will be going on the Sun Princess repositioning cruise 9/23. Hope to meet you guys and talk cruising.
Have you and Rickee sailed on Silversea Silver Whisper? If so, what do you think of it? My parents are slated to sail on Silver Whisper next year in Greece.
@@jdb316 We sailed on Whisper in 2003. Our first Silversea cruise. The ship has undergone many modifications since we sailed on her. This still might be our favorite size Silversea ship.
