Looking forward to trying this design in the next few days. Thank you for producing these videos and showing what the designs look like on different quilts; it really helps.

Glad you like them! My only problem is all these example quilts, I want to make them all :-0) I must resist LOL

I am truly LOVING your video series! I always send my quilts off to be quilted instead of doing them myself cuz I have NO idea of how best to do so! It's SO expensive to have quilts longarmed by others, but I feel more comfortable turning my works of art over to someone else with experience in doing so and usually give the quilter TOTAL creative control. I really want to give this a try now! Your videos have given me a new confidence.

You are so welcome! I really hope you enjoy the process and give it a go, making these little samples is a lovely way to dip your toes in and see how it feels. Best of luck!!

Thank you for making this video. I get nervous when planning my quilting…but your videos always give me confidence in trying something new. And your voice and delivery is calm and that helps me to get my anxiety under more control. ❤

I love your series on the quilting designs. When you draw this pattern on a real quilt (instead of on your sample block), do you draw so that the top points of the chevron are 1/4-inch away from the quilt’s edge so that the points will not be lost under the binding? My question would apply to a quilt that does not have a border that is being quilted separately. Thanks for your hard work in teaching us these designs.

Thank you so much! I am glad you are finding it helpful. That is a great point; yes, I would keep my points away from the quilt edge, so they are not lost in the binding. I might even be tempted to leave a 1/2" gap from where the binding will be. Thanks!
