Thank you, Sir. I just applied yesterday as Associate Software Engineer with no background experience or not related to my field of study. Unfortunately, they don't accept applicants with no background so they recommend me to apply as Service Desk. I passed my assessment and I was able to reach sa final interview. Right after he told me that I can do that and trainings are always available. I'm hoping that I can get the JO and sa mga kagaya ko na walang experience or ZERO knowledge tlga sa IT Industry, be POSITIVE lng. Long story short, I was only able to finish three years of bachelor in mechanical engineering from Scotland, I only had a year left before I graduate but life didn’t turn out really well after that, so I instead had to go home here in Philly to take a BPO in-house job. Bagong Subscriber Sir. Rienze!!!, super inspired by your video. I decide to jump na din and for now I think Im lost "di ko alam among language", saan na next?" " may tatanggap ba na company" madaming tanong sa isip, kasi di related young course ko sa IT. Nag-resign nadin ako to dive full time to study self-taught route ang tinatahak ko. sana ma-hire din ako tulad mo sir. salamat sa video na to dahil dito nabawasan yung pagka-down ko. more videos pa po sir.
Grabe nakakatuwa naman malaman na may impact pala vids ko :) Just start somewhere bro, pili ka lang ng isang language, masterin mo talaga, as in deep knowledge. Mas madali kasing mapick-up yung ibang language once you know the principles na. Halos related lang sila, syntax lang mag-iiba. I suggest start with Javascript (vanilla) or python and then go from there :) You can do it! I feel na desidido ka naman sa goal mo kasi you resigned to do this. And when you feel down, remember why you started. Balik ka lang sa why mo.
Good day sir I'm previously work in accenture 3 month lang po workday hcm core yun na bootcamp unfortunately I didn'y pass tapos parnag di na ata.pde maka apply kasi naka tag as not applicable for rwhire sayang naman po sana pde pa po after 2 yrs
Hi Sir, im a network engineer and magka batch tayo, napapaisip ako minsan na mag switch from network to software, is it worth it to switch pa kaya? Haysss
Very helpful and inspiring content kuya especially sa mga career-shifter tulad ko. Haha! From Logistics field to IT related position (as Analyst in Accenture). 😁 God bless you more kuya!!!
subscribed, actually was searching for signs to take/apply on an Assoc. Software Eng. especially that they consider related courses like BS Mathematics. and to think that i am going to be a shifter, kakaiba yung kaba and feeling kasi ibang industry yung tutungtungan mo. hopefully magkaron ng lakas ng loob to apply na and sana makashift to another career
But try applying for jobs na. Use the feedback to improve yourself. And enjoy the process.
Very inspiring content sir. Tips po sa interview, exams and the whole process po of the application looking po ako to get a stable mentorship and training when it comes to software development.
Thank you! I suggest look for a company na nag-ooffer ng bootcamps. If mag-aapply ka as a bootcamper walang masyadong expectations sa skills or experience. Mas concerned sila sa character and soft skills. You can showcase that sa interview. I suggest din for now you can maximize the free stuff like freeCodeCamp pero kung may budget ka pwede ka din maghintay ng discounts sa udemy. Iba pa rin kasi talaga yung paid courses. I suggest start with the frontend courses especially Javascript (vanilla)
@@Rienze_Anda thank you very much sir for the information and tips. mag 3 years narin po as software dev pero parang stagnant po yung growth ko ngayon.

Hi fellow EcE. I'm 28M and planning to career shift to software development too kaso nga lang hindi ako ganun ka confident sa coding skills na meron ako now though most of it involves Arduino at basic understating sa HTML and CSS at may konting MySQL wayback college. My previous experience is sa telco industry more on design and generating survey reports, but currently I'm self-employed offering cctv services. Accenture is also my top choice as of now to start my career in software development, not sure lang kung anong position ito. Is it Associate Software Engineer position for starters and do they offer WFH set-ups?
Yes, as far as I know hybrid sila 4 WFH and 1 day sa office. Try applying now baka matanggap ka. If not, get some feedback to know alin pa ang dapat iimprove.
And puro heavy coding ang ginagawa namin, puro scaling and efficiency ang kaylagan namin gawin. Pati interview namin lahat Leetcode question, mga data structures and algorithms.
kahit hindi FAANG company sa US no required sakanila data structures & algorithms? medyo nakakapressure tong subject nato lalo pag i a apply na sa software
Sana tuloy2x na sa akin sir, passed today the pre employment test ,for hr interview na.ece rin ako 10yrs in manufacturing industry ngayon lang sasabak maging software engr. Manifesting ❤
Hello Sir! You got yourself a subscriber and I'm glad nakita ko yung channel mo. Any tips kung saan po ikaw nag learn nga mga topics like html, css, and javascript T or saan ka po nag bootcamp? thank you po.
I strongly advise you TO NOT JOIN A CODING BOOTCAMP! Which is mostly a scam especially in the Philippines. Learning HTML, CSS, and Javascript is easy enough even if you study on your own with a variety of free online resources. and you should really just Google everything you want to know to see if you're doing the right thing.
first time viewer ako dito sa channel mo :D gulat ako same tayo ng lampshade at monitor ahaha. kaka start ko lng mag aral ng HTML CSS at JS.. Civil Engineer naman ako planning to shift career din EDIT: pati keyboard pareho tayo jusme. ahahah
hello, bootcamp internally sa company. Mostly to learn the platform (Servicenow). Pero yung language itself talaga self-study. Thankful lang talaga ako that they hired me haha
ayun lang. Pero i know 2 people na galing BPO CSR din sila dati, now they are full time devs na sa company namin :D I think need lang maging firm and clear sa communication with the company.
What are the best jobs that aren't typically remote but give huge pay? Ngl, I prefer on-site jobs kasi it sucks being at home and it's boring kasi. I want to hone my social skills and the best way to do this is by going out there and socialize and an on-site work setting will surely help.
I think that depends on the company. Most of us are in Hybrid arrangement (once a week/once a month). As for the pay, as long as it's in the IT industry you will be paid higher compared to other industries.
Currently self-studying to career shift and be front-end dev. Nag resign ako 6 months ago sa accounting career ko kasi just like your reason, sobrang repetitive.
Hello, I'm not sure now regarding sa hiring process nila eh. In terms of hintayan, mga 5 months akong naghintay haha.
Pwede ka naman maging full stack bro but know that it will take time. Madali na mapick up yung other language once you have mastered one.
Hi sir , kakainspired naman haha graduate ako ng Industrial Engineering ,may unang work ako which is not related sa tinapos ko then luckily natanggap ako kay Accenture magstart ako sa August 7 . As in wala din akong knowledge about software or programming pero sinasabi ko pa din na napapagaralan naman lahat ,why not kung tatanggihan ko ang Accenture syempre po it is an honor to work with their company
You need to showcase your skills and knowledge. I think advantage for you na anjan ka na.
Planning to switch sa it industry, ongoing now ang self study ko sa programming. Na enjoy ko mag coding, doing some coding projects mostly sa mathematics and engineering calculations. Challenging pero sobrang enjoy kasi narelaized ko, math is no longer all about matter, math is now all about patterns and communication.
Yes, no knowledge at all. But I know logic and advance math because of my engineering background so that helped. Associate Software Engineer yung position. Started from the bottom!
sharpen mo lang skills mo bro, mahahire ka din. it's easier to negotiate kasi kapag may maooffer ka for them. I suggest na tumanngap ka din ng clients as a freelancer para magka-exp din
@@brynaquino1238 hindi ko sure bro kung saan meron eh. kami kasi inside the company yung naging bootcamp namin. pwede ka nman mag enroll sa mga online courses if need mo to start somewhere 😊
mas gsto ko pa ung remote work setup, kasi khit nung nggraduate ako ng highschool wala tlga akong maisip na tamang course skin. Ngaun mas gsto ko ung mga analyst at mga code. data analyst mas preferred ko kasi mas gsto ko ung mga halong math related dahil highschool plang hilig ko tlga ang math and mas marami akong alm sa excel. python gsto ko tlgang pg.aralan as a beginner kasi ung language kasi straightforward lng and mas simple ung mga syntax.
sa tingin niyo po ba pwede parin ako mag software engineer kasi ang alam ko po after ko magcollege dito sa manila uuwi kami dumaguete nagiisip ako kung meron bang ganung trabaho dun or if wala man may alam po ba kayong alam na remote work for entry level
I think possible naman lalo na ngayon na parang normal na lang yung remote work talaga. As long as you're good then I think di issue yung location. Sadly wala akong alam na specific company right now.
Hello! as of now di na ako sure kasi wala na ako doon but based sa mga nasasagap ko na news is yes mostly wfh parin naman sila. I think once a week lang ata need na nasa office ka so okay pa rin :D
Ako din nag career shift. Literal from business management background to IT sana. Yung career-shift yata na sinasabi hindi from a different background talaga.😅
Sad, kamusta na ngayon? Pero, I think sa panahon naman ngayon as long as you can prove na meron kang skills they will hire you eh regardless of the background. Mas open minded na ang mga companies. I think you just need to wait for your big break :)

Today is my first day as Application Development Associate, very anxious talaga ako sir since I have little knowledge with programming. Can you give me tips for the trainings sir, as well as the evaluations? na iinsecure ako sa iba kase IT course graduate at feel ko parang ako lang ang career-shifter.
I have a video about Impostor Syndrome and natackle ko din doon yung anxiety na nafeel/nafefeel ko knowing na hindi talaga ako formally trained for this. One thing to remember is that Action beats fear. When you feel anxious, it's a sign na you need to study/prepare. Use the free resources here in YT

Same here a ECE grad and also worked in a Manufacturing company(Semicon) for 4years.
Bagong Subscriber Sir. Rienze!!!, super inspired by your video. I decide to jump na din and for now I think Im lost "di ko alam among language", saan na next?" " may tatanggap ba na company" madaming tanong sa isip, kasi di related young course ko sa IT. Nag-resign nadin ako to dive full time to study self-taught route ang tinatahak ko. sana ma-hire din ako tulad mo sir. salamat sa video na to dahil dito nabawasan yung pagka-down ko. more videos pa po sir.
Grabe nakakatuwa naman malaman na may impact pala vids ko :) Just start somewhere bro, pili ka lang ng isang language, masterin mo talaga, as in deep knowledge. Mas madali kasing mapick-up yung ibang language once you know the principles na. Halos related lang sila, syntax lang mag-iiba. I suggest start with Javascript (vanilla) or python and then go from there :)
You can do it! I feel na desidido ka naman sa goal mo kasi you resigned to do this. And when you feel down, remember why you started. Balik ka lang sa why mo.
Good day po sir! Thank you
Good day sir I'm previously work in accenture 3 month lang po workday hcm core yun na bootcamp unfortunately I didn'y pass tapos parnag di na ata.pde maka apply kasi naka tag as not applicable for rwhire sayang naman po sana pde pa po after 2 yrs
Hi Sir, im a network engineer and magka batch tayo, napapaisip ako minsan na mag switch from network to software, is it worth it to switch pa kaya? Haysss
Any recommendation kung anong programming dapat malearn for Software Engineering?
Hindi ako naka attend sa interview ko kaya ayon, no longer under consideration yung status ng application ko
sir thank you for sharing your inspiring story.
Nakakaempower. Thank you!
Thank you. Glad to hear that
Very helpful and inspiring content kuya especially sa mga career-shifter tulad ko. Haha! From Logistics field to IT related position (as Analyst in Accenture). 😁 God bless you more kuya!!!
Data analyst po? Im also from logistic na gusto mag shift sa IT.
Baka boss Anton yan eh!
Hello, mostly nung time namin panay logical reasoning lang eh.
subscribed, actually was searching for signs to take/apply on an Assoc.
Gusto ko talaga maging software engineer/full stock web developer not just to earn money but balance time sa sarili.
Tama, isa sa perks na gusto ko talaga is yung flexibility in terms of time and location. As long as you deliver what's needed okay lang.
@@Rienze_Anda salamat sa reply sir🙏
@@ryanfrancisco8109 Nafeel ko din yan bro even as a dev. I think you should bet on yourself and look for new opportunities sa ibang company :) kaya mo yan!
@@Rienze_Anda thanks sir. currently investing on courses muna.

Self taught web developer din ako gusto ko sana magapply kahit intern lng sana
Yes, as far as I know hybrid sila 4 WFH and 1 day sa office. Try applying now baka matanggap ka. If not, get some feedback to know alin pa ang dapat iimprove.
Internship is a good way to get your foot in the door. Grab it if merong mag-offer and if hindi mo naman masyado need magkasalary agad-agad
Nice one Boss Rienze!

And puro heavy coding ang ginagawa namin, puro scaling and efficiency ang kaylagan namin gawin. Pati interview namin lahat Leetcode question, mga data structures and algorithms.
kahit hindi FAANG company sa US no required sakanila data structures & algorithms? medyo nakakapressure tong subject nato lalo pag i a apply na sa software
@@vincentvilfamat9199 oo kahit mga startup at mga mid size company lahat data structures and algorithms.
nag interview ako sa Uber, final interview ko for an internship lang 3 hours long back to back to back
Maraming salamat sa reply kuys, and good luck sa final interview mo!! 🎉
Wow! Congrats. I think mas competitive jan sa US kasi mas magaganda yung perks haha
Any secondhand siguro. Mahal na din talaga monitors eh
Sana tuloy2x na sa akin sir, passed today the pre employment test ,for hr interview na.ece rin ako 10yrs in manufacturing industry ngayon lang sasabak maging software engr. Manifesting ❤
Keri yan. It's never too late basta willing matuto
How many salary do you get per month on junior software engineer and also how many salary do you get per year
Sorry, confidential. Try reaching out sa mga hiring sa linkedIN they might be able to answer your question.
Civil Engineer naman ako planning to shift career din
EDIT:
pati keyboard pareho tayo jusme. ahahah
RCE dn ako sir plannimg to shift ng career
hahaha baka variant tayo sa multiverse. Jk. Shopee lang lahat yan. Aside sa monitor. Tama yan! HTML, CSS and JS muna!!
God bless sa journey niyo
Nagboot camp kb sir? To enhance or learn programming language?
hello, bootcamp internally sa company. Mostly to learn the platform (Servicenow). Pero yung language itself talaga self-study. Thankful lang talaga ako that they hired me haha
thank u for this
Welcome
ang concern ko.. mga work exp ko customer service.. then pag magaapply ako ng bpo sa mga software position, ending lagi napupunta sa csr position..🤦🏻
ayun lang. Pero i know 2 people na galing BPO CSR din sila dati, now they are full time devs na sa company namin :D
I think need lang maging firm and clear sa communication with the company.
How to shift to software engineering from a non-IT/engineering industry?
Start with self-studying muna. Try it if you enjoy the process. I think that's the biggest determining factor.
May Assessment po ba and what to do in the interview?
Yes madami at least 3 nung time namin. I think you can practice with a partner.
sobra! They love us.
@@jeromegayeta8176 how's your interview po? I'm also planning to apply in Accenture as associate software engineer huhu.
May i ask sr what is the soft tech use on the field of software engineer?
Nice one Sir.
Nice one Ninong Rienze ❤️❤️❤️❤️🤘🤘🤘🤘
syempre support local tayo haha
Hahahahhahaha relateeeeeeeeeeee sa almost lahat ng aspect. Inspiring 🙏
Hi sir , kakainspired naman haha graduate ako ng Industrial Engineering ,may unang work ako which is not related sa tinapos ko then luckily natanggap ako kay Accenture magstart ako sa August 7 . Good stepping stone siya if you're a career shifter. God bless on your start :)
Hi Ma'am, May I ask po if ilang weeks or probably months bago matawagan after ng interview sa HR.

Di ko sure parang ako na yata pinakamatagal na naghintay (as far as I can remember). I think 3 months ang normal
I guess I'm too late na for this?

Planning to switch sa it industry, ongoing now ang self study ko sa programming. Na enjoy ko mag coding, doing some coding projects mostly sa mathematics and engineering calculations.
Challenging pero sobrang enjoy kasi narelaized ko, math is no longer all about matter, math is now all about patterns and communication.

That's good! Sa panahon naman ngayon normal na yung remote work so pabor na pabor sa ating mga gustong mag WFH always :)
sa tingin niyo po ba pwede parin ako mag software engineer kasi ang alam ko po after ko magcollege dito sa manila uuwi kami dumaguete nagiisip ako kung meron bang ganung trabaho dun or if wala man may alam po ba kayong alam na remote work for entry level
I think possible naman lalo na ngayon na parang normal na lang yung remote work talaga. As long as you're good then I think di issue yung location. Sadly wala akong alam na specific company right now.
From my experience, kahit wala. Pero mas mabuti if may knowledge na
sir gs2 ko sanang mag apply sa accenture as developer ang ooffer ba cla ng remote work or work from home
Hello! as of now di na ako sure kasi wala na ako doon but based sa mga nasasagap ko na news is yes mostly wfh parin naman sila. I think once a week lang ata need na nasa office ka so okay pa rin :D
Hello sir pwede ba mag OJT sa Accenture?
I think natanggap naman sila ng interns
Ako din nag career shift. Literal from business management background to IT sana. Yung career-shift yata na sinasabi hindi from a different background talaga.😅
Sad, kamusta na ngayon? Pero, I think sa panahon naman ngayon as long as you can prove na meron kang skills they will hire you eh regardless of the background. Mas open minded na ang mga companies. I think you just need to wait for your big break :)
Hi sir! I am a Mechanical Engineer but a career shifter, recently passed my board examination last year.
Hello, I think pwede self-study na lang muna. I assume you're working full time? I think mas pasok yun sa sched and situation mo ngayon. Regarding what to pursue if ECE related or IT related, I think depende din yan sa Strengths or Talent mo. Alin yung mas fit? Alin yung mas naeenjoy mo.
