    Thank you, Sir. I just applied yesterday as Associate Software Engineer with no background experience or not related to my field of study. Unfortunately, they don't accept applicants with no background so they recommend me to apply as Service Desk. I passed my assessment and I was able to reach sa final interview. I remember the hiring manager asked me "What's your plan 5 years from now?", so I said to him that I am aiming to work as a Software Engineer. Right after he told me that I can do that and trainings are always available. I'm hoping that I can get the JO and sa mga kagaya ko na walang experience or ZERO knowledge tlga sa IT Industry, be POSITIVE lng. Someday I will look back to this comment and may it remind me that I DID IT!

    New subsriber here! I can feel you. Same experiences din. Industrial Engineer grad and certification passer, galing din from manufacturing na na-burn out due to repetitive tasks & toxic environment. Currently shifting sa IT industry. Though ako is nagtiis nang 7 yrs bago po talaga makawala sa manufacturing. Buti na lng may dumating na opportunity kahit di pa related sa IT. Since maluwag oras ko sa current work ko ngayon, nag aaral ako in between breaks and WFH set up din. Nakaka-inspire na malaman na di lng ako nag iisa, meron din akong katulad and nagawa nila na makapasok nang IT industry. Mas lalo po akong ginanahan sa pag self study ko. Tiwala soon makakapag work din sa isang tech company.

    you got yourself a subscriber. career shifter here and I like your motivation video. Napawala mo yung anxiety and yung pagooverthink ko sa kung ano gagawin ko right now sa career ko. same din sa situation mo wherein in just half of the shift done na sa work wala ng ginagawa or wala at all (i can say 90% all the time wala akong ginagawa). Currently upskilling and refreshing myself in some programming languages for 2 months na, and here I am applying to companies na while still being employed (safety net). Daming rejections na nangyayari and parang 3% - 5% lang yung nagffeedback sa mga application ko to interview.
    Hoping to land a job soon, and kudos sa last part na "wag matakot magkamali".

    • @saladsad08
      @saladsad08 2 года назад

      add ko lang, 3 years na ako sa company and stagnant na yung progression, no promotion, and no certificate of appreciation throughout the years of being loyal (taas din kasi ng sahod for province like above minimum rate, kaya di ko rin maiwanan and covid hits pa so I wasn't able to make my move to jump back to IT industry), now na everything is slowly going forward to the new normal, I think it's time na. Goodluck to me!

      @Rienze_Anda  2 года назад

      @@saladsad08 Awesome! Glad to know na nakakatulong din naman pala vids ko hehe. I appreciate the comment. Tama yang ginagawa mo na may safety net, kasi minsan nakakastress talaga yung problemado ka pa sa bills and gastusin. And pag stressed ka nakakatamad lalo mag-aral, nakakawala ng drive.
      Pag patuloy mo lang yan, although alam ko nakakapagod, having a job plus studying pa pagkauwi. Steady ka lang, sa una lang madaming rejections but once makapasok ka na, sila na maghahabol sayo. Treat it as an experiment, learn from every "failure" and then adapt. God bless you on your journey bro.

    Very inspiring Sir. I'm a career shifter too. Licensed Mech Engr with 2 years of work experience as a Project Engr. It got so boring kasi repeating na yong tasks ko, and di pa matapatan ng sahod yong effort tsaka contributions mo sa work and feel ko na na achieve ko na ang full potential ko as a proj engr. so, I decided to pursue soft dev. Nag resign ako 4 months ago, then self study and I just got JO'd by some tech company days ago lang. Biggest challenge talaga yong pag resign kahit wala kang backup companies pero worth it na lahat kasi official junior software developer na ako.

    Hello! I’m glad I came across to your channel. It’s pretty late, but I’d really like to get to know more about delving in to software development. Long story short, I was only able to finish three years of bachelor in mechanical engineering from Scotland, I only had a year left before I graduate but life didn’t turn out really well after that, so I instead had to go home here in Philly to take a BPO in-house job. It’s been almost 7 years. So far, the pay is good, permanent w@h set-up. It’s just that I was wondering where, and how to start since I literally don’t have any idea if I could land a job in this area without any experience (although I did take computing courses back in my uni days but that was way back in 2015).
    Cheers to you and to your channel! You’ve earned yourself a subscriber.

      Parang mas kailangan mo mag shift ng program? Maybe from ECE to CS or IT. So after 1 year from your comment, nag shift ka ba? Parang sayang yung oras mo kung tatapusin mo yung ECE tapos Software Engineer ang goal mo as a career, kasi sa totoo lang, walang connect ang ECE program sa software development. Isa pa, hindi lahat ng interview ay katulad ng sa Accenture.

    Hi, i am a fresh grad and an Accenture employee. I was given a role that isn't for programming yet I wanted a programming intensive role while my friends who dont want programming got a programming intensive role. I just want to ask if there's anything that I can do to shift to my desired career. I tried to communicate to my people lead and more but I think they don't entertain such scenario. I tried to apply for open demand related to programming but can't get any attention either. I have programminh skills in my cv as well yet nothing. Rest assured that i still give my best in upskilling even though it isnt what i wanted. Can you give me some advice about achieving the right career path at ACN.

    What are the best jobs that aren't typically remote but give huge pay? Ngl, I prefer on-site jobs kasi it sucks being at home and it's boring kasi. I want to hone my social skills and the best way to do this is by going out there and socialize and an on-site work setting will surely help.

    • @Rienze_Anda

      I think that depends on the company. Most of us are in Hybrid arrangement (once a week/once a month). As for the pay, as long as it's in the IT industry you will be paid higher compared to other industries.
