Thank you for taking the time to conduct these experiments. Do you like the top hats as much as the aero garden red hairloom cherry tomato? I have grown aerogarden golden harvest however they all ended up red so I think the wrong seeds were in the box. Also these tomato’s look very similar to the picture on the box of the golden harvest

I'm hoping to try growing Orange Hat tomatoes this year. My biggest problem is as fast as the tomatoes ripen, I pick them off and eat them 😋

Try 4 plants in SpiderFarmer. You may have excess tomatoes, hopefully. 😀

I noticed the same thing with the Spider Farmer unit, seedlings lagged behind and sometimes were leggy compared to the AeroGarden. If the light hood could be lowered more, that probably would not happen.

I noticed leggy growth with older version of Spider Farmer. But the newer one comes with better lights (36W). Also, the light can go little lower compared to the older version. These 2 improvements are actually making it work much better.

@@aerogardenexperiments yes, I have the newer spider farmer, and the light is absolutely amazing compared to my iDoo gardens. I love that you can adjust the brightness so much, too. Tiny Tim tomatoes are growing beautifully on its first run.

Thanks for sharing. Spider Farmer seems like a good choice. I'm also interested in experimenting with indoor tomato cultivation.

You have several different brands of aeroponic setups. Can you buy parts for the Spider Farmer, etc.? That would be a big "plus" for the less expensive brands.

Do you mean pump and lights? If so, unfortunately no. Based on my experience, Spider Farmer customer care is good and they can help us with any issues up to 1 year or as long as the system is under warranty. A few other manufacturers also offer good service up to 1 year, but not every manufacturer. For example, I never had luck contacting Mufga customer service.
