The Canadian soldiers that fought in WWII and brought these back must be rolling in their graves because of the behavior of their government. Literally are moving in the direction of the people of they defeated in WWII.
Yup. (As noted above, I had to rebarrel a bring-back Luger.) They fought and died for a Crown that gives us rights and takes them away on a whim. Repulsive.
For your info: That is no Danish FN but a Dutch FN that was used by the police. Or maybe more important: That is Queen Wilhelmina from the Netherlands. Thank you for your very informing video's. Cheers from Holland.
Take a snap cap and squeeze the trigger in double action on both the Python and the Pre 27. That’s where you’ll see the difference. The Colt will have stacking the closer you get to the hammer drop. You may prefer the Smith trigger after experiencing this.
The main reason Walther changed the 90-degree safety to 60-degree safety was to strengthen the safety so it wouldn't break. If you look at the 90-degree safety and compare it to the 60-degree safety you will notice the extra metal which adds strength.
I recommended every American to go Canadian online gun auctions and take these beautiful lil guns to the states, they are prohibited in Canada and they are dirt cheap!
As a Canadian I find it a very sad state of affairs. Our gun laws are a total joke. Brings back the time they Banned the Valley sniper rifle but the varmint rifle was ok. The difference between the two? One had a wood stock the other a plastic stock with a thumb hole. So far as the actual firearm part is concerned, they're the exact same thing. Then I can go on about the idiots who worked at the longarm registry that registered soldering guns, glue guns, grease guns but not the M3s. Staple guns, paintball guns, BB guns. No wonder why it was millions over budget and the G2 worthless. GIGO.
Canada imposed a required minimum barrel length on pistols a few decades ago, all pistols not conforming had to be either surrendered or registered as prohibited. When they were registered as prohibited it is my understanding that they could not be transported at all without special authorization from the police that was basically only granted when you are moving house. Glock 19’s were banned in Canada until fairly recently when Glock released a special Canadian model that had the Barrel extended by a quarter of an inch (don’t quote me on exact measurements)

The FN, and the Walther PPs I can see being prohibited in Canada. Having barrels of less than 4", and in the mouse gun calibers like .32, and .380 ACP. That at least. Ammo is banned for important in Canada. Unless maybe if you have a PLA. But, the Luger's, and the Revolvers should still be in the legal guns in the restricted class. I don't know about .30 luger ammo availably in Canada. But I know they don't have a hard time getting 9x19parabelum, .38spl, and .357magnum.
We can get 380. But no 32 or 25 because... reasons. And the FN is gone because.... I don't know why. (AKs were also banned - but not Valmets. Rumor is because a Liberal minister had a collection of them at the time. That's how our laws get made here.) Hang on to your freedom with both hands.
Totally false as .32 (including .32 ACP, .32-20 WCF, etc.) and .25-cal. centerfire ammo isn't prohibited, only handguns chambered in those calibers. Long guns chambered in those calibers are either restricted or non-restricted depending on length.
Fyi all new Pythons are stainless steel only. No nickel. No blue, yet. There are many mechanical differences between the new and original. Revolvers are called revolvers not pistols.
As a Canadian reading the title, I thought this was a jab at Canada, but WTF Thank you for saving them from us and our wanker prime minister and govt! 👍👍
Great business move the VIP, and great for person who are really interested, not so much the money aspect but a item one truly want know. I was wondering if you were going to post that PPK 22 on your channel, almost put a note in the box with it hoping to see it on your channel. Hope your customer enjoys it. - Ryan (mainguns)
I know I am in a minority but I wished you would dedicate some future videos to more revolvers. Ones used in combat, self defense, hunting etc., from the US and around the world.
The 2020 Pythons are not the same specs as the ones from the 60s. Fewer parts in the action in the new models and some engineering/mechanical differences.

I hope their souls past away to the other side a long time ago.
@@camel303 Agreed. Honestly, how many crime are committed each year in Canada with vintage WWII weapons?

Right after I finished I realized I made that mistake. My apologies. I was just too lazy to go back and do it over.
@@LegacyCollectibles No problem. Now that is a honest answer... too lazy👍

Makes sense
98%er here, plus I live in California, and I have dandruff. But I do enjoy watching to learn...Thanks!
Try some bronze fine wool, its safer to use on original finishes and works just as well.
Thanks
thank you for your service
Beautiful pistols
Thank you!!

Hey, don't come and take them all. I have a 12(6) license and would like to own a few of them myself.
Do you know any Canadian gun auction websites?
Beautiful Parabell from 1917 🤩🤤
I can't touch it 😭
Gorgeous guns!

Very well done, great guns 💪!
It certainly should be a brown recluse if the other variant is a black widow. Also brown recluses are way more common

False as those revolvers are prohibited because they have barrels less than 106mm.
Same with the Lugers.
@@Dillinger022 I was talking about pistols - because that's what the video is about. (I have an M84 in .32 because it was classified as a rifle.)

Any body help me? I have one party leader ppk excellent condition from my grandfather , how much are worth ? Thanks
Couple years ago I was getting 2-3 axis pistols a month the whole year. Sadly lately I’m lucky if I get one every 2-3 months…
