Linux How To Use Screen Command "Run Programs In Background On Terminal"

  • Screen is super simple but also super complex today I cover the basics and why you would perhaps maybe wanna use this terminal program.
    Keep your programs from ending when you close a ssh session or just minimize them to have a free ssh terminal to start new commands.
    To install screen just enter this into the terminal. "apt-get install screen"

      Screen is good. I use it more on my headless setups but it is always useful when I need it and I hope it helps you out too.

      I use yesterday.
      But I don't know, how to use comend when i use screen.
      I try symulate "ctrl + a, ctrl + d" :)
      Yes in my crypt in bash
      But i don't know how to use.
      Yesterday i try function echo in bash.
      But not workig

    Don't normally link to other articles but I got the one hotkey wrong still works even if I done it wrong in the video. Also this list out some other hotkeys you may want to use. It's just a useful cheat sheet if you didn't wanna see the video. But I still hope you had fun watching the video regardless.
