I swear ts exists just to annoy the top dogs, last year beat tl upset both drx and prx and this year gave geng the hardest game they have played before geng vs sen and now a win against prx. Always found this squad amusing and confusing at the same time on how they can annoy the top dogs many the times but struggle against the middle of the pack to bottom tier teams. If Paper Rex is known for aggressive plays, I guess we can all agree that TS should maintain this type of play style, confusing enemies about their whereabouts and what they ever doing. Truly a "secret" play.

I think it comes down to a few things, 1. TS heavy prepped for this, PRX were in cruise mode and thought they could get away with little prep. 2. PRX were not playing at their best (their mechanics and reads were off), and 3. Jremy had a unreal once in a season performance and basically won them map 2 (among the other previous things). Remember mechanics wins duels, but anti-strats win games
I think PRX will be just fine, they should finish top 2 in their group, and they should qualify to shanghai, but in future they should try and prep for every team fully and understand that any team can 2-0 them given the right circumstances, never underestimate anyone.

TS mostly was beating PRX on duels too especially on map 1, PRX won both pistol on map 1 so that's 4 Round Wins, it ended 13-9 so PRX only won 5 GUN ROUNDS, imagine that "PRX only won 5 gun rounds, TS have to win 13 gun rounds or some eco" that's domination or a massacre
you cant say its once in a season performance or by luck or fluke or because PRX fumbled picking a comp etc when TS did beat them 2 times already, they're the only guys who beat PRX and DRX last year too
TS can beat any team but can also lose to any team because they're inconsistent for some reason, if they manage find a way to fix that they'll be one of the top teams in APAC again
and its not like TS was a bad team, even last year they're 1 win away from going to Champions/International its either TS or Zeta but Zeta won, they finished 4th out of the 10 teams so yeah they're really not a bad team, like i said they've upset PRX and DRX even last year and then they did it again to PRX so yeah its really not some fluke or luck
@@relykremok1225 jremy dropping 30+ kills on one map is absolutely a once in a (5 week) season performance. The whole team though are absolutely top 4 material, just consistency issues.

I’ve heard them been called “stronger than the strongest, weaker than the weakest” which I think is kind of an accurate summary of Team Secret’s success. DRX, PRX, GENG all struggled against this team… They could probably slay gods, but lose to ants.

TS shut down something's flank on round 5 because at 6:06 something starts running and doesn't know NDG's at A site, NDG hears this (notice he flicks on the minimap) and that's why jremy was able to expect something at mid

Send TS to disrupt/upset GenG, DRX, PRX, Zeta, but before they can turn in to their final form as unstoppable monsters, nature sends out RRQ, Talon, and T1 to keep em in check. Their consistency is so weird ngl.
That was a genius call to just abandon A and go B. The gun difference meant that winning a postplant was unlikely so they realised there was an opportunity to get a 5 v 4 by going B!
Such an unconventional play too leaves PRX to clear everything on their way back to B.
I think agent comp was not the problem because prx with this comp can win against a team like loud and edg and i think ts is always prepare more if they facing a top team but if ts facing mid team, ya like you guys know

Team Secret is literally Pacific's middle team. They're at the bottom of the best Pacific teams and at the top of the lesser Pacific teams. They have the weirdest consistency out of all the teams. JessieVash can lead but when things are going wrong, then everything crumbles, but on a good day, they're able to read the enemy amd play better.
I swear prx always get demotivated when there is one guy having the greatest game of their life on the opposite team like less/zekken/jremy/jawgemo. Sometimes I wonder if prx really need a "hero" to deal with this situation?

How to beat PRX: Let them overthinking
As sentinel main i would say sunset really need sentinel, unlike bind. Such as sage or kj (maybe its kinda funny) but rather than cypher in higher rank, ez destroyed with sova or raze bomb
Never have I ever felt the lack of a sentinel be so blatant on a map...
During this map I was really wondering why on earth are they rotating this fast and through their spawn leaving the entire map unknown to them...
Shouldve rotated out of site to TS spawn or mid to gather info and rotate at the same time or hold site and only rotate when spike gets planted...
I guess TS is just extremely good at anti strating the top dogs.

I hate how TS played this, I had played against something similar in this map. It is so terrible and not fun. It is not the valorant I signed up to play.
is it the Breach? its surprising how some teams are not playing Breach on this map, its literally like a map made for Breach, but its kinda hard to pull it off on ranked since you need really good comms and coordination

@@relykremok1225 no, the way they are rotating. I had a game as a cypher, everytime my team would lose their site. So when I started rotating early/ when I am sure the enemy are on site, I started rotating early. Whenever I rotated early I found out that the enemy reyna was lurking in the other site with the spike alone. So when I stay to play against the lurk, the spike had been planted where the push was. Even when I decided to push, multiple people were hiding there.

The true culprit to this downfall was Paper Rex's glaring lack of Harbor

I doubt it, they approach each game with a fun mindset. Also they know they under prepped, so should have expected to be heavy anti-strated, truthfully if a rematch were to happen tomorrow, I would pick PRX 9 times out of 10 for the simple reason that they would prep much more and be able to read TS better.
Probably, but I also feel like they underestimated TS, so this is a good humbling experience to show that they aren't unstoppable even with Jinggg back.
@@davy2329 Just got strat-diffed. Both of this teams have been clashing against each other ever since 2021, so compared to every single team rn TS is the only one who can somewhat handle them just because of how much theyve already encountered each other.
They need 1 sentinel agent...to hold and info Raze is not good on sunset...i also prefer not to use sage on icebox

This should be "HOW TEAM SECRET DESTROYED PAPER REX" because they played so well in this match but because Paper Rex is the famous team...hahaha you know.
Playing with no sentinels is a choice that PRX does so many times, but to see them play with that choice and looked this lost is confusing. I don't think they are in a good form to win, I wish they had kept Monyet, definitely Monyet is more comfortable on Omen than Davai, so in that case I don't know why Mindfreak is not Omen and Davai Viper(bcs Davai plays Viper too in some maps)

So i was thinking on lotus often biggest and most important fight is for rubble, so could it be possible for attackers to skip that fight by having viper smoke diagonally, as soon as the round starts omen ults to open doors, viper wall up, and since doors are so slow now attackerz can skye/gekko flash and molly through wall to stop defenders from pushing, and just run to three, vipers diagonal wall can also make some sort of one with with to spike, now we can use different gadgets like deadlock wall to close three or sagd wall to stop wall bangs and create situation similar to sunset b site, we can also leave 2 players at rubble protecting door, idk i was just thinkinf about how to utilize omens new ability to safely open doors
